I've tried everything from the help section including a hard shutdown of my router and turning off and unplugging my ps4 for over a minute each, Internet connection is good, it streams hulu and Netflix perfectly, checked after hard shutdown, also checked network staid and everything passed, still cannot log in.....

im having the same issue. ps+ active, reset my router, reset my playstation, even deleted the destiny game from the console and redownloaded everything from the begining. and i was just trying to switch characters when this happened. i did the raid in on my warlock, then i was trying to switch to my titan, when i started getting this issue. i have scoured and tried every suggestion i have read on playstation and bungie forums and nothing works. i even switched connection types from ethernet to wifi and back, and nothing works. i just want to play some -blam!-ing destiny, its my day off and i would like to unwind. is it too much to ask of bungie to have a proper playing game. if it was a proper game, they wouldnt have to release hot fix after hot fix. and patch after patch. bungie fix your -blam!-ing shit man

Was switching to my warlock after an IB match. Kicked me and I can't get back on.

Tried the hard resets to router and console twice.... no luck. It always lets me get to the character screen where I pick my Titan, huntard, or lock and then says I have lost connection to the Destiny servers. Frustrated.

I am having same problem only it lets me log into Destiny with my kids account but not mine.

Sorry it took so long for me to reply. When I first posted this article, a few other users were reporting from other sites that PSN was having issues with Destiny specifically as Bungie is pretty good about letting people know when they are having a problem. Please let me know if your issue persists.

XBOX as well, not just PS players. Have a look at the posts in the prime 'Murican playing period. Same problems as 'Uropean players.
