I'd say:
-Most of the games of Amplitude studios (outside of Endless Legends, that seems to be one of note in the 4X community).
-Most of the games of Blendo Games (except maybe Thirty Flights of Loving)
-Would Gunpoint count?
-How about Risk of Rain?
-House of the Dying Sun is indie, last time I checked.

Well, the art style looks interesting. What's it about?

The game is a 2D RPG compared to Baldur's Gate. It takes place in the 1920's, in and around the fictional city of Witchmarsh, Massachusetts. You play as 1-4 people hired on to investigate a series of disappearances, labeled the "Witchmarsh Twelve." As this recent picture by the devs suggests, things are going to get a tad fantastic.
