I don't want any D2 news unless it's actually news and not 'ideas that may or may not actually be there'. I'm tired of things being said, and then redacted, just to be said again only to ultimately not be there in the first place. Unless it's concept art. I love concept art. -- Biggest tip for Destiny 2. Literally, will make the game 100% easier and less frustrating. Give me more numbers. Don't just say 'increases or decreases this and that'. Say how much for what and to what items and extent. I hate that they say 'increases recovery' and I don't know by how much. Also, why doesn't the bar display numbers for our 3 base stats? The agility, recovery, armor bars. It should show 7/10 or 3/10. Or something like that. Or 'increases effects of Ward of Dawn'. Okay... how much? Just to weapons and blessing? Or also Armor? Is it worth it? All of this we can't see unless we find out somewhere else... why say anything at all at that point? And how long did it take before discipline, strength and intellect actually told us to what extent it was affecting our abilities? Too dang long... That is one of the things that had to be in the game on day 1. I don't agree with most people's 'this should have been included earlier' rants, but the simple fact that we didn't even know how the essential attributes actually helped us was an epic fail on biblical proportions. Why can much cheaper games be so exact with all their stat numbers yet Destiny can't even bother to put timers next to all active effects that actually need timers, like various over shields or Ward of Dawn effects, is beyond me. Seriously, we have a timer for Fire Shield for the Sunsinger. But not one for Force Field for the Defender? Sigh... And why we have so many hidden stats on guns that we, the players, can purposely alter with different many available perks (yet not see how they're changing... really?) is absolutely asinine. Why allow use to change them in the first place if we can't even see them in the game? Destiny was supposed to be a big game, and in a lot of ways it is. But my dang... they do one heck of a job at making Destiny look as empty and useless as possible at times.

I'm just worried eververse will be in it from the start now, all the idiots that bought silver have shown bungie that they don't need to make a decent game to make money.

Agreed. We knew about Destiny at E3 2012 I believe. Then, Destiny came out in 2014. We knew 2 years in advance that it was coming. So, why then with less than a year before it's supposed release we know literally nothing about Destiny 2? We need something Bungie. A teaser. A general release date. Is it even coming out in September? Or are we gonna get another major DLC? Either they don't want us to see D2 because it's not finished, bad, they don't want hype and/or it's a Destiny copy and paste, or they don't want us to see it because it's too amazing. Unfortunately, it's probably not a good sign that they haven't said anything. My guess is it will release in 2018.

There will be crimson days. There will be new ghosts since the others can now drop, the ghost will look like a ferrero rocher with bits of toblerone stuck to it. The will be new armour that has the ass cut away so you can see your mates buttcheeks. You will be able to apply chroma to your own butthole so when you crouch you will emit a light from your anus.

I'm happy with the way things are right now. Bungie is working quietly on Destiny 2. They aren't saying anything, or doing something else. Just making Destiny 2. And to all those who disagree with me, consider these two points. What did we get when a dev team was split for two projects? We got Sonic 06. What happened when we were promised many things only for them not to make it into the final game? We got No Man's Sky.

IF Destiny 2 will actually release in September, then here's what I think is likely: GDC at the end of Feb/beginning of March will be the official "Reveal" of D2.... Even if it's just a 15 second teaser. We will then get the typical drip drop of info until the curtains are pulled back at E3. E3 will have the proper introduction... Possibly in-game footage and a solid release date in Sept. Then, for the next 3 months, we'll get ViDocs and other details from DeeJ. See, a GDC announcement will give them a solid 6 months to build hype, with a nice midpoint at E3 to make it start to boil over. We shall see...

Considering we're already in the new year and we haven't heard a peep about D2, I'm pretty sure we won't see it till next year.

D2 has been pushed back to2018 because they realize they can get at least one more year (or $40 of "content" out of this current game)

Firefighters reported to a dumpster fire at 550 106th Ave in Bellevue Washington and immediately left when they realized it was the Destiny franchise. According to one fireman, who requested to remain anonymous, it was "Just a very sad scene and beyond hope of rescue."

The gaming industry just isn't what it used to be. There are far more issues with reliability, transparency, honesty, etc. How many hyped games have been pushed back only to turn out to be flops? Of course, it can't be ignored that this can be attributed to how massive the industry has become, meaning tons of red tape, more greed, stressful deadlines, bad hires, etc. Bungie no longer has the freedom to be casual and open with their community, and have to take a more robotic, corporate approach to practically everything they say and do. Crimson Days will more than likely be next, then we'll probably have an old raid brought up to current Light for the April update. We'll be lucky if we get Destiny 2 in 2017. All we can do is hope it isn't a repeat of vanilla.

Keep your eyes and ears open for any Bungie Reps getting replaced or resigning. It usually means someone didn't get their fair share and is being forced to 'walk the plank.' However, these acts usually mean a release of info is on the horizon which is good for the consumer. [spoiler]but it sure sucks for the poor schmuck who got screwed![/spoiler]
