Okay, so I bought Destiny for Xbox 360 a year ago, and from the moment I first played it, the sound has not been working right. I can hear the NPCs talk, I can hear one weapon fire, I can hear my character's grunts, background music, melee/knife throwing, injury indicator, supercharge sounds, and I can hear some enemy voices. That's it. I can't hear grenades, enemy footsteps, most weapons fire [enemy and my own], nor anything else. I have tried changing the audio settings on my TV, Xbox, and in game. I have tried resetting the game. I have tried resetting the console. I even looked up my problem on Google. I'm getting nothing helpful at all. Please someone help me. It is very VERY difficult to play this game when I can't hear the enemy. And evidently, I'm not the only one who can't. Please, Bungie. Fix this problem already.

Have you tried reinstalling? I see you've mentioned that it's been that way from the very start and that you've already tried adjusting the sound levels. I don't see that you've mentioned actually reinstalling.

1 ReplyHey there, On Xbox 360, there can be missing sounds if any Destiny files are located on USB storage. It's pretty minimal if it's only the base game file, but if you try to run all files on external storage, it is eerily quiet in game. Which will result in almost zero sounds playing. Additionally, you can try clearing your Cache. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539

Well the things you mention are not really able to be heard anyway. Enemy fire is not as loud as yours at all same with Foot steps. They are normally very quiet. But the Hernandez is problem a bug
