What? Killed in the Crucible, and it wasn't a Matador?
I was just in the Crucible a few weeks ago and got killed, and when it said what killed me, it wasn't a shotgun. Is this a glitch, Bungie? Luckily, it hasn't happened again, so hopefully it's been patched, and the Crucible has gone back to the shotgun-only game it's supposed to be. Because nothing shows off game skill like a shotgun.

1 ReplyHere we are in year 3 with shotguns being the most balanced they have ever been along with being inconsistent shooting blanks etc. and people still complain. Do year one players still cry about shotguns? Or do they blame themselves for allowing themselves to get shotgunned in the first place? Remove matador from the game and kids will still cry about any shotgun below it.

2 RepliesStrange... I had one of my best crucible rounds since day 1 just two days ago. And the even stranger thing... I didn't get a sniper/shotgun/fusion kill during the entire match. Who would have thought it was possible?!?!

7 RepliesShotgun warriors don't bother me. It's the players that know how effective sidearms are and use them as a primary that you need to worry about.

You know how I avoid getting shotgunned? I do something called "zoning." Try it, it'll help. For those of you not-so-hip-to Super Smash Bros and Dark Souls, to zone you opponent is spacing your self between both of you. So yes, playing passively is what I am trying to get across. Abuse your abilities you can stay afar from your opponents.

4 RepliesGetting rid of aim assist on snipers so all of the mid-high impacts had the same aim assist. After that no one with there hidden hand shorgaze could snipe so they when back to shotguns.

4 RepliesActually it is the problem: post update it now has full auto range finder further range etc then party crasher. Party crasher wasn't that bad but if you intend to buff shotguns then you must buff primaries. I'll never understand how they nerf snipers which takes 10x the skill as a jug shield Titan or a lightning strike storm caller and buff shotgun. Shotguns have ruined crucible bc it's all anyone uses anymore. It is now used as a primary. That is the problem. You either buff everything else to increase time to kill or you nerf there range and drop off damage range.

3 RepliesThe weekly Crucible bounty is "Back to Basics" which has one part that requires 50 primary kills. You can't do that if all you use is a Matador.
