The Last Word is fine where it is currently. If you take the time to get good with the weapon it can be borderline overpowered. I think buffing it would push it over the edge. The only change that I think should be made is the same thing I think should be changed for all handcannons and that is the removal of ghost bullets.

Id say buff the hipfire accuracy, because bugie confirmed that they want it hipfired, then go from there

I agree. Just don't use full auto just tap the trigger like a normal hand cannon, it will be more accurate this way

It was meant to be hipfired, not ads I wanna see a buff where the perk gives you a better range and accuracy for actually using as intended. But other than that it's still a good exotic -
It is arguably the best weapon to couple with a sniper solely because hipfiring it at close range is such a great way to deal with rushing opponents. You already have such a large number of benefits from the gun that I don't think it needs anymore range or accuracy. I truly believe the only change it needs is to have the ghost bullet issue fixed.

That's not true at all. You can be so close to someone that you're breathing on them and still have ghost bullets. A max range handcannon will have ghost bullets just like any other handcannon. If you're gonna try calling someone out at least try to be correct.

You should listen to yourself. There's a reason why god rolls consist of rangefinder rifled barrel and hidden hand arguably changing some perks sure. But the main reason here is range and accuracy greatly reduces ghost bullets now if you're shooting someone right in their face you're obviously 1. Having connection issues 2. Facing someone with connection issues 3. Bungie servers running on a potato server that day and 4. Talking bullshit about it even happening just to prove a point which has no value. So please go on and tell me more about how well you know hc's -
They added bloom which means if Continually fired as fast as possible they become increasingly less accurate

Try it in private matches. Doesnt depend on firing speed. Can happen with the first bullet aswell.

So rather than provide anything of value you blame lag and tell me I have no idea what I'm talking about. I cannot count the number of times I've tried shooting a rushing shotgunner with the Last Word only to have one of my bullets completely miss despite my crosshairs being directly on the rusher and then end with me getting one shot by a Matador. Ghost bullets are note solely a product of range or accuracy. You can have the best perks on a handcannon with great base stats and you will still have ghost bullets. Don't talk down to people when you have no idea what you're talking about. And here's a free tip: don't tell someone who's better with the weapon than you are how the gun works.

So now you're saying that because you can't outgun a shotgunner with the last word in a cqc it's because ghost bullets lol your logic is top notch dude. Here's a tip: if you think connection does not matter you've been lost man, there's a reason people lag switch in trials, Try unloading your last word on em and see how many actually hit. Lag doesn't have to be something completely noticeable it could be a small delay for all you know that very same delay could cause you to lose a kill for that very same reason. So let's say we're in the perfect scenario everything is running tip top shape. You will hit all your bullets especially if in the appropriate range. Now about you facing a shotgun rusher with the last word that's always a 50/50 can't expect to win them all the time bud -

Now see I'm siting here looking at the arguments. From what I can gather Eye Luv Pie is correct in his knowledge about hand cannons. He may not have the stats to back it up but that doesn't matter in this scenario. Another thing is you just suck with Last Word. From what I am reading you should take off the gun because this is just well sad. I don't remember the last time someone went full king Kong on me and killed me when I had Last Word. That doesn't happen to me. You know why because I don't suck. I jump, use my abilities, and most of all I have thumbs to aim the weapon on the forehead and hit them with the three tap. When you do this apes don't kill you.

Snipers can be used at any range seamlessly. ^ Combine that with the fact that the last word if in competent hands (clearly not you) can wreck shotgunners.
