Solo option for vanguard strikes
I'm getting real tired of dealing with the worst of the worst when it comes to getting set in a fire team of randoms during strikes. What makes it worse are these new weekly bounties and having to deal with these bottom of the barrel randoms screwing them up on a constant.
Please please please give us an option for running strikes solo.

It won't happen for one reason, plus (or xbox gold) is required now to access strikes, when we could solo them it didn't need subscription to the console, knowing that is part of it makes me hate it more, so petty but i guess sony needs to ensure those stupid exclusives return money..

How about simply pressing Y/Triangle as soon as matchmaking starts to skip it? That was players can easily go solo or with a friend, no ransoms.

Keep this dream alive! Just had my post about this trend high lets get anothers trending! Im not wanting solo for bounties. Its a couple of things. 1. This weeks. Small arms and Void Burn is a blast with voidwalker. Bad Juju and obsidian Mind Nova for everyone! 2. The challenge. We can do raids, Challenge PoE, and Nightfall solo. Why not the heroics?

1 ReplyI have been begging and begging and begging for this. I was just about to post something begging for a way to do this. There is a thing you can do on PS4. But my XB1 account - many of my bounties need me to do a Strike to continue. Look I have beaten Strikes solo. I do not and cannot do Strikes with people. Especially randoms. They eat to run through the things. They kill everything and I end up hanging. And I play better solo. I get nervous when I am on a team. I am begging you. There has got to be a way to get I solo like on PS4. Gives the option to choose.

Talk about getting 9 kills in a row or they holding the relic at the nexus and just dancing or maybe they just rush the strike right? Cause they been sir and doing nothing will actually help you finish your bounties. New county system has brought new trolling mechanics.

nightfall is pretty good for the weekly rewards. getting bronze, silver, gold medals is pretty much automatic anyways.

Yeah I just did a Strike in XB1 and the two jerk I was paired with ran through it as fast as they could. They used their Damn Sparrows inside and avoided actually playing the game as much as possible.

And to all you people complaining about noobs holding you back. I was a noob recently. I had no idea what I was doing. 8 got lost in that Damn Koviks Strike and was left behind. I haven't been playing Destiny for three years. I am not the only one. And do you think I liked being paired with a bunch of jerk who ran off and left me hanging? Who ran through Strikes as fast as they could because all they cared about was the gear? Because that is what most people do, try to get as many Strikes in so they can get the gear. I want to play the Damn game. I enjoy playing Destiny. Nice gear is great. I'd like a few more exotics. But first and foremost I want to enjoy playing Destiny. It isn't a chore. It isn't a grind. It's a video game. Call me old fashion but we played video games FOR FUN.

12 RepliesWouldn't worry too much about it Jar Jar. Just came back from a "Destiny break" only to notice longer waiting times for crucible and strikes. Ran a few strikes tonight and either I was solo or had 1 other random with me. Few times had 3 but they were consecutive strike runs. Could be my imagination but it kinda feels like a lot of people have moved on from Destiny. Several times I've been the only one at Felwinters Peak. Reef and Tower are getting lonely too at times (except for reset day). Dare say you'll be running solo strikes wether you want to or not soon enough.

well i guess i see what your saying i think it would be a good idea to go to strikes solo by finding them in the world where they should be and if you have a fireteam you can do it with them or just match up for it with randoms alot like how dungeons work in WoW.

Just lower your light to 360 then launch the playlist. Once you match lower light players just go back to 400. This allows you to do any bounty you like and pretty much solo the strike. Because the low light players you get matched with don't do much but assist you on kills

3 RepliesYeah this should be a thing. Matchmaking for all modes for people who want to use it. And the ability to opt out of it for people who don't. I don't see why this is an issue still even at the start of Y3. This should just be a thing already.

18 RepliesWelcome to Destiny. Where TEAMING up with people to complete activities is a major part of the game. Want to know what I do when I'm paired with 'less-skilled' players? I complete the Strike, then leave in the post-game screen, take a short break to let those who I just played queue up, then start the playlist. Therefore, unless they didn't get a third player, I don't get paired up with them again.
