What do I have to do..?
...To get the Crimson Doubles vanity items? People said they could drop during SRL so I ended up doing something like 300+ races. Never once saw them drop for me or anyone else.
I've even started grinding the Rumble playlist in the hopes of getting them there. Nothing.
And honestly, I'm not a big fan of the Crucible in general (as I'm terrible at it), so having to play it just to have a chance at getting the items is less than desirable.
Is there something I'm missing here? All that it says is that they are obtained from Crucible playlist. Am I playing the wrong game mode? or is it completely down to RNG and they could drop in my next match, or it could take another thousand matches?
All I would like to know is where they can drop. If I have to keep playing Rumble, so be it, but I'd like to know that I have a chance at getting them in there, or if I'm just wasting my time.
Normally, I wouldn't care, but the shaders/emblem are positively gorgeous, and since I already have multiple of the CD ghosts, it would be nice to complete the set.

I got a few of the Chocolate shells from SRL (one of which help fuel my Dread Explorer shell to 400) and got the Crimson Crest emblem from either a Clash or Control match the other day. What you have to remember is just because these items have been added to the Crucible loot table doesn't automatically mean they'll be dropping left and right nor are the pre-defined to a specific mode. It's still very much dependent on RNG on where and when they do drop. Just keep doing Crucible matches and they'll eventually drop for you hopefully.
