Im sure we all know this, but its at that my point now where I am truly fed up. So many little things out of place in this game right now that just make crucible in a completely broken state. The tipping point? Bungie has let this go on for close to a half year without a balancing update, or small patchwork here and there. Isn't that great that the developer of game that is still widely played doesnt give a shit about you.
I dont want to hear they are mostly focused on Destiny 2 blah blah blah. You still need a team focused on keeping your current game up to snuff that still holds a large population of players. Hell, we haven't even gotten full confirmation/teaser of Destiny 2 from Bungie, so the first statement is still currently invalid. What a joke.
I had high hopes for a great year 3 and to go out with a bang before the supposed sequel launched. If the rumors are true, the sequel will be a massive, much needed reboot. But Bungie themselves has ruined that for me. I've been here since alpha putting hrs in, and this is how Bungie treats its longtime players? They basically have gotten lazy and said screw you guys in year 3.
I've toyed with being fed up many times before, but stuck around. But I'm officially fed up now. Your public outreach to your playerbase this year has been abysmal and I'm done till you do something. Going back to Titanfall 2, a game that gets updated regularly and is balanced.
Sincerely,
Longtime Destiny fan and player

They've already confirmed that a new one is in the works, but is not ready yet. 2. Bungie responded to the outcry for a reduction in SBMM...and now people are finding out (as we warned them) that going to CBMM won't fix the game's lag problems. If you're going to have P2P networking, you're going to have lag. It nearly triples the bandwith that people have to have to have solid connections....and you have lots of people out there playing with shitty internet and they know it. The only cure is going to dedicated servers, and that is simply not going to happen before Destiny 2. No responsible executive is going to spend the money to majorly overhaul a game that no one is going to be playing a year from now. 3. There has been a confirmation of Destiny 2. Bungie just hasn't started their marketing push...but they always do that very late, and never before the game is ready for release. Activision's CEO confirmed its existence---and that its on-track for release this year----back in December. Activision's last "Investor's Call" (Quarterly report to investors on what is going on with the company). 4. You are simply burned out..and that's not Bungie's fault. NOTHING can satisfy forever. One night of your favorite meal is a treat. Having to eat that same meal every night for three years is TORTURE. The food is just as good. You've just gotten sick of having to eat it every damn day. So I recommend you go play some other games. You'll get to have fun doing other things. You'll be less toxic with respect to Destiny....and probably come to better appreciate what this game has to offer when you aren't insisting that it give you every possible gaming experience you could want.
