If she's telling the truth she's got good grounds to sue and should try. I don't mind looking like a sensitive idiot for 2.2 billion dollars.

She wouldn't sue if she can't prove her photo was used but 2.2 billion? Damn that's a lot

Edited by MildSquirrel: 1/10/2017 4:14:24 AMRead the article, it's the estimate of profits made from the photo. They also shopped alcohol into the picture.
-
I mentioned the alcohol part. Even if they did make profits from her photo she's not gonna get the 2 billion that they made
-
Obviously, the company would say they made much less like that $100,000 off the picture and then they will compromise with something like 1 million out of court. The people suing aren't expecting 2 billion.
-
Just saying maybe she should sue for a reasonable amount.
-
That'd mean the money you actually get after legal fees, compromising, time off work wouldn't be reasonable. If you can't wrap your head around this don't call her the dumb one.
-
So what's a reasonable amount?
-
The profits made from the picture and 'damages' from photoshopping the alcohol.
-
You said 1 million in your previous post. Does that include legal fees or what she takes home?
-
That's an example. I don't know the profits.
