I saw others using the CE emotes and shaders, but I have the same problem. As it is next to impossible to find a way to get a straight answer to anything from Activision and Bungie, I turned to Microsoft game support. All they could tell me is I owned the Digital CE from 360, never mentioned a CE meant for One. They even want me to get back to them when I have figured out what happened. Today, after searching for a solution for 3 days, I decided to turn to social networks to contact Activision. Here is a copy of our FB conversation: Me: I need human assistance with a Destiny upgrade This is going on a third whole day of searching for an answer to my problem and contacting XBox Support with an over two hour call. Then I am told to contact Activision/Bungie, when it seems niether online site has options for human help, and all self-help really doesn't answer what is going on. Activision Assist Hello, what upgrade are you referring to? ^JE Me: I went from Legacy XBox 360 to One and bought the Destiny Collection Upgrade for $40. I previously bought Destiny Digital Collector's Edition. The Class items, Emotes, and Shaders transferred into my characters in game, but it will not let me equip them. It says I require the collectors edition. I have encountered several players who can use those items on XBox One. Even one who said he was able to use them right after upgrading from legacy 360. Activision Assist: Yes, you have to own the Collectors edition of the game, the collection upgrade is for the expansion passes, not the collectors edition content. The upgrade period for the collectors edition of the game expired some time ago. ^JE Me: I do own the Digital Collectors Edition, bought to get The Taken King a year before Rise of Iron came out, on 360. Activision Assist: Yes, you owned it on the 360, the upgrade period to get it on the Xbox One expired, hence the new $40 Collection upgrade. ^JE But this Collection upgrade is for the expansions, you would need to purchase the collectors edition addons to use it. ^JE Me: I see no way to repurchase these for XBox One. The Collectors Edition is nowhere to be found in the store for XBox One. This page I found is the closest thing to getting it for the One, but is not available. As for the second part of your statement, you paid for this content on the 360 version of the game. ^JE In any case this is all the information we have to provide, Microsoft should have advised you of your situation further when you were on the phone with them. ^JE If the codes were used we wouldn't be able to replace them. ^JE Me: From Odyssey 2000 until now, I had been a huge Activision fan, as a single customer I have bought at least $1500 in products of yours. A customer I will no longer be. So many people angry how Bungie said it would not charge for future add-ons past Taken King, which they then did. I know this was not your personal decision and appreciate your time. [End of conversation] So to use those class items, emotes, and shaders, one in my situation would need to pay a third-party seller for a brand new Xbox One Collector's Edition of the game, just for it's code. I am not doing that after all the headache and Bungie's omnipotent and unsympathetic attitude and lies to it's customer base.
