In that case I'm sure you realize that making a comparison between a bug fix in two completely different games, one of which is saddled with a good bit of legacy code, is meaningless.

  • Code is code my friend. Only analysis of that code by an expert can tell us whether the fix for this specific bug is a big change or a small change. What is obvious is that adding Exotic Shards back to Xur + plus 10 stacks of Heavy Ammo caused 3oC to be pushed out of his Inventory. Proper fix - increase XUR's maximum inventory size by 3 to allow some room for movement. Quick fix - delete 3 stacks of Heavy Ammo from the table of his fixed Inventory. Should take about half a day to develop and system test

    OK but the rest of my point was that all indicators are that this is a small change that could probably be executed via a data change only with no logical change even required. And when i say "expert" it really just means anyone with experience of that particular language/API or 'Engine'. I was fixing a lot of other peoples bugs in my 1st developer job with less than 6 months experience
