Transversive Steps
It is complete and utter BS that, despite only finally having issued exotic boots for the warlock in the third and final year of D1's lifespan, that there is not an increased chance of these dropping when decrypting an exotic engram on your warlock. I've had multiples of every single other exotic leg armour in the game with my warlock, but these -blam!-ing boots will not drop.
Moral of the story: I'm a jackass for not picking them up week 1...

Imo, the "Steps" is the best Pve exotic for the Warlock. What warlock pve exotic is more versatile than the "steps"? Holds more special or heavy ammo and automatically refills your weapon when you pick up bricks? Best use for strikes or the raid. So you could shoot 7 ghallys or 12 sleeper shots, pick up some bricks right next to you and keep shooting. They are great for dps. Imo, the "steps" are the best warlock pve exotics. If you disagree, fine. Go use something else. [spoiler]The crouch perk is meh. Only useful for picking pieces up in the raid for the Seige and crouch walking very quicky. Or useful in pvp, if you are a person who crouches, you could get around quicker. But there are definitely better warlock armor choices for pvp.[/spoiler]

2 RepliesWorst exotic boots ever...even worse then radiant dance machines...u move faster while crouching and when u pick up ammo it automatically goes into ur mag so u don't have to reload...PVE I guess u could use but their are so many other ones u should use...

That's my story with the Ophidian Aspect. All exotic gauntlets decrypt into crap I already had, or already had to 400.

The only ones I own were Xur's. Didn't have a single one decrypt from engrams.

5 RepliesNot to brag but I managed them pretty quick. Mean boots with that auto reload perk. Still prefer my sunbreakers or nothing manacles. Still looking for a good one to rock when I'm going all sith Lord but we'll see.

1 ReplyAlso, this last week it seems was the first in quite a while that Xûr sold a regular engram- or maybe I'm wrong? Haven't paid attention to him much most weeks. Point being, if it's the new trend away from the legacies, then boots will be in the rotation at some point.

So not to rub it in because I've had my share of long awaited gear, but this go around (release of ROI), I lucked out in acquiring almost every new exotic armor piece rather quickly using engrams stashed prior. I like how the perks are not subclass based and the ammo reload is quite cool/ useful, but I would have preferred something different for the one and only boots for warlocks.

Same boat. Only those and icebreaker elude me now... Two gaping holes in my collection... Hopefully remedied after reset... Probably not, though...

Sunbreakers, Sunbreakers, Sunbreakers, Nothing Manacles, Sunbreakers, Sunbreakers, Thagomizers, Sunbreakers, Claws, Sunbreakers, Sunbreakers, Sunbreakers, Sunbreakers, Sunbreakers...for months now. At least Xur brought the item you desire. He's left us OA grinders hanging for three months. Good luck.

Didn't xur sell them a couple weeks ago? They are ok. The best thing about them is the carry extra special/heavy.

I only used them for that part of the gally quest where you had to stay alive through all those waves of fallen. after that went back to my bae, nothing manacles
