Best Star Wars film?
Definitely Revenge of the Sith for me (don't judge) can't fit R1 on the list sorry, just post below if it's your favourite. the second three was a typo, that is episode VII

Star Wars is all about top notch visuals and characters that people want to be in places people want to be in. It's a highly romanticized space opera. Nothing does highly romanticized space opera better than Return of the Jedi. Revenge of the Sith comes closest, while Attack of the Clones, A New Hope, and The Force Awakens all do a great job; but none of them touches the interpersonal and narrative drama of Return of the Jedi. Oh, and don't forget that Return of the Jedi still has fantastic visual effects, even by modern standards (okay, I admit, you do have to omit a few very cheesy effects to make this claim, but cut me some slack), over 30 years after initial (ugh) release. ROTJ FTW

After dwelling on Rouge One for a bit, I've reshuffled my list of the films: 8. Episode VII 7. Episode II 6. Episode IV 5. Rouge One 4. Episode I 3. Episode V 2. Episode VI 1. Episode III In due time Rouge One and Phantom Menace could swap spots as I need to get a second viewing somewhere down the road.

It's amazing how obsessed people are with a mediocre collection of movies with maybe one or two very good ones. I just turn up, watch it and move on. Some of you are absolutely crazy about some spaceships and light up swords. Although, Darth Vader's story is a very interesting one and is my favourite part of Star Wars.
