So according to this, 3oC isn't gone. It's just Xur loot table is too big to display all weekly items so some weeks he will have them and some he wont? If that's the case, it's not that big of a deal. Just buy as many as you can when he has them. They did the same with heavy ammo Xur used to sell. Some weeks he would have it, others he wouldnt.

Edited by LasseVK: 12/30/2016 10:22:48 PMI'm not really all that much against the situation as you describe it, if this is how it is going to be. What I'm against is that this was dropped onto the userbase with no warning. This gives the (rightful) impression that this is a bug that they simply don't know how to fix (inept? incompetent?). They've usually been pretty transparent about things like "we've realized this drops too much good gear, so we're going to bring this a bit down", but no such message appeared this time, which means most people who have a clue realize this is most likely a bug. A bug that is now being reclassified as a "feature". He's not always going to be selling 3 of coins, deal with it. So does that mean that Bungie felt that the droprate/acquirement rate of exotics was too large? So that they had to bring it down? Then say it! This is not some "let's observe this thing and see how it behaves" type of situation. We have X programmers at Bungie that writes this software, they should know *exactly* how this thing behaves. Any behavior like this should either be fully known by and designed by the programmers to begin with or it is an unintended change. The fact that they're still not explaining why or how means everybody and their uncle "knows" this is a bug they don't want to own up to. They said last week they would be observing how coming weeks would play out. Sorry but no. Any decent programmer would be able to tell you that you can easily debug the program to know how it will behave. They should easily be able to know what would happen this week, or the next. Either they didn't know what was going to happen, in which case they're inept and incompetent, or they chose not to tell us, in which case some marketing idiot should be reprimanded. Nope, we're not talking life or death here. We're talking about a simple video game. The fact that they're still treating their userbase as "people playing a simple videogame", however, means they simply doesn't know what they're doing.

Edited by GreenD614: 12/30/2016 10:29:44 PMThat's what it looks like they're saying. It will still be around but random weeks. Yea it sucks there was no warning. I don't think there was with the heavy ammo back then either.
