Assassinating a Brute, Grunt, Jackal, Hunter, etc... *BE CREATIVE*
We all know what a Spartan/Elite assassination looks like. Lets think of what a spartan on another type of Covenant would look like.
Brute: Would it be like what Buck did to the chieftain in ODST. Would it be similar to the Spartan/Elite assassinations? You jump on his back and stab his neck? You jump on the top of his head putting all your spartan weight on him while he's on the ground? What do you think a Spartan assassinating a Brute would look like? Or an Elite assassinating a Brute?Be creative folks. I think it should have something to do with stabbing those gorilla faces of theirs and seeing the mark on their face after the assassination. Or maybe a knife up their ass?
Grunts: Millions of ideas. nuff said.
Hunters: I'd like to see that. Killing the worms?
Skirmishers/Jackals: I'd like to see their heads cut off. They're so ugly.
Engineer: Jump on it and stab it repeatedly. Something like
hijacking a vehicle and seeing them explode as usual.
Prophet: Like in Halo 2 when you kill Regret.
Marines: ???????

Ok here are mine: Grunt: Rib off mask thingy so it can't breathe. Hunter: (If it's quite injured) Runs up it's back, jumps, then pulls out 2 knives and stabs it in its neck. Zealot: Roundhouse kick in the back of the head. Jackal: Grab it, turn it around and stab it in its mouth. Engineer: Grab a tentacle and swing it around and throw it into something and explodes. (Can harm others if it hits them) Prophet: Grab throat and stab in their stomach. (Like the Arbiter did to Truth) Drone: Rip wings off, punch it and then throw it. Marines: Kick in the back of the leg, wait for them to move their head to see who did it and then crush their head with your boot. [Edited on 05.31.2010 5:43 PM PDT]

Enemies need to act weaker after each time they get hit. For example, if you shoot a jackal 4 times and it still walks around and acts normally like he hasn't taken a hit and after the 5th shot it's instantly killed, that's bull-blam!- to me. Enemies need to be weaker after each bullet they take. Maybe even crawling around for a few seconds like in GoW. Who thinks the same? [Edited on 05.31.2010 5:15 PM PDT]

Grunts: thats an easy one... here you go [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uef5bgp3gsw]Grunt Fatality[/url] Hunters: you shove your hand into the Hunter's back and grab out a chunk of the worms killing them. Jackals/Skirmishers: you take out your knife and stab them repeatedly.

Grunt: Pick him up, rip his head off, then toss the body and the head away. Jackal: Rip off both his arms, then beat him to death with his own arms. Brute: Stick a knife in his face. Elite: Do the backbreaker (Grab his shoulders with both hands, while pulling him back into your knee, snapping his spinal chord), then do a spin while tossing him. Hunter: Climb up his back to his neck, and rip out the worms. Btw, I came up with the idea of being able to board hunters and rip out their worms a long time ago, and when I posted a thread on it, I only got flamed because people were ignorant and afraid of any changes. Add on to my original hunter idea: Grab it, hold it up on your chest, then haul it over your head, so it lands flat on it's back, then turn around quickly and sink your knife into the orange flesh in the neck. Pretty much my ideas on page 2, but with the knife.

Brutes: Jump Really high after pushing up on their shoulders. Pull out your knife, and stab it straight in the head. Hunters: Stab their neck. Take their cannon arm and rip it off somehow, seeing as it's worms. Shoot its head off. Jackals: Roundhouse Kick. Then, pick it up by the neck, take your Pistol, and shoot its head off. Grunts: Rip their methane tank and breather off. Watch them gasp for air, then die. Skirmishers:Grab shoulders and knee them in the back, crushing their spinal cord. Nuff' Said there.

Well,for the hunter, I think your Spartan should pull out his knife, and slash it through the exposed legkolo worms in his back. That would be awesome.

brutes: obviously jump on the back and do what buck does in ODST. jackals/skirmishers: grab their mouth pull it back and stab it in the back, or neck snap would work. grunts: stab it in the neck, the back of the head, snap the neck. if grunts are sleeping it should be really quiet. drones: on the ground: stomp on it like a bug. on the ceiling like in odst, do the aerial punch like in the beta. hunters: jump on the back and rip out some of the lekgolo from the neck, stab a knife in the open space on the back. engineers: jump on the top and rip the neck off, then ride it to the ground jumping off before it explodes. new elite one: spin the elite around and shove a knife between the mandibles, kinda like MC with the pistol to the arbiter on sierra 117. if there is elite firefight or marines can get assasinated by AI covenant in campaign, then some marine ones would be cool. 1. elite vs. marine: classic lift up the human by the collar then stab with sword and toss to the side like trash. 2. brute vs marine: (from halo 3 vidoc e tu brute) lift up the marine with both hands above their head then snap their back on their knee. also knock a marine to their knees and smash their head in with a hammer. the brute should also flip warthogs and things over like in the vidoc. 3. drone vs. marine: drones should actually lift marines up and take off with them more often. instead of only happening in one scripted moment on crows nest. 4. hunter vs marine: smash the marine, all i can think of. 5. jackals/skirmishers vs marines: stab them in the back with needler blade thing. marines should assassinate as well, but they should only be able to assassinate grunts, and jackals, possibly drones. ODST's can assassinate brutes though. (nod to halo 3: ODST)
