I created this guide to help out with the vast majority of people looking for help with obtaining the ever so difficult "Vidmaster Achievements" and unlocking the Recon Armor Permutation. [u][b]About The Vidmasters:[/b][/u] The Vidmaster Challenges are a series of 7 achievements available in Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST. Four achievements in Halo 3 and three in Halo 3: ODST. The achievements became unlockable with the dawn of Title Update 2. If you don't have your account linked to Bungie.net, I have attached a mini-guide for you to use. [b][u] Windows Live ID Linking Help:[/b][/u] To link your gamertag, you'll need to sign in on Bungie.net with the same Windows LIVE ID that you use for your Gamertag on Xbox LIVE. If you don't, when you go to Xbox.com, sign in with the Windows LIVE ID that is for your gamertag. Basically: If you sign in on Bungie.net and Xbox LIVE with the same WLID: Sign into B.net > Click "link my Gamertag!' > Sign into Xbox.com with same sign in. If you sign into Bungie.net with a different WLID than your Xbox LIVE: Sign into B.net with the WLID you use here > Click "link my Gamertag!" > Sign into Xbox.com with the WLID you use for Xbox LIVE. Wait 24 hours for the game to appear on Bungie.net.[/quote] Wait for the game stats to appear on BNet. If it has been over 48 hours, I would re-do the achievement. If you are still having problems just wait it out. It takes time for games to verify. If you have modded any of the Halo 3: ODST achievements you cannot get Recon. It will not verify the game.
