The clip speaks for itself, no other class has this amount of range, Hunter ? No, Titan ? No. If destiny was focused on singularity uniqueness then I Wouldn't have a problem, because that's the uniqueness of the class, but when everything is standardize on a "balance" thread nothing can be too good, because then it out paces the rest. any warlock that tries to defend this reasoning is simply biased. Let's tone it down a little bit or give it dmg fall off when the amplitude range distance is active.

Another post about warlocks *sighs*
TACTICAL NERF INCOMMIING!
-
The nightstalkers melee can hit you from 100x that distance literally.
-
I've gotten more range than a warlock on a Hunter. Know what it's called? Throwing knives. Let's just stop the Hunter Nerf Herd here and let everything remain as it is.
-
2 RepliesHunters do have the knives, last I checked if set up properly and aim for the head you can get a 1hit on them. I haven't been on in a while so I can't confirm is this is still a thing. Titans have the shoulder charge. Melee range on the warlocks are pretty much all they have going for them. Sunsinger has a shield that does not activate half the time. (So do defenders.) Stormcallers have a huge amount of range with their melee. (So does a shoulder charge and throwing knife.) Void walkers, their grenades aren't the best and the melee on it is pretty much a go to. When using a void walker it is often to get away with no intent to kill really.

1 ReplyAll classes need something what is op Hunters have shadestep and wombos Titan has that shield Warlock has the melee So stop crying
-
1 ReplyNo other subclass has that range, no... Every single subclass has things that every other subclass doesn't have. That doesn't mean it should all be nerfed. It's about diversity. You use the subclass & abilities that cater to your play style... Part of playing Storm is an extended range melee. Part of playing Nightstalker is having smokes. Part of playing Striker is having juggernaut. Part of playing Voidwalker is grapes. Every subclass has advantages & disadvantages. I don't see why everyone just wants to nerf everything into the ground. If someone plays differently than them, they're considered a crutch player automatically...yet, whatever they're using, of course, isn't considered a crutch. It takes skill, no matter what it is...it's a shame that so many people think like this.

Quit complaining man other subclasses have different have unique ability so stop complaining go delete ur post

Hunters have throwing knives and when combined with handcannon, in the right hands can be goodnight for enemy. Titans have shoulder charge and that freaking shield. What's up?
-
2 RepliesSo I have sunsinger on right now. My main job in pve is to create orbs for you guys. And if you manage to die. I self rez to save the team from a wipe. Hopefully. It's what I do. A horde of thralls comes out. I melee them and you have orbs a plenty. It's supposed to be a pve game. That's why different classes have different skills. If we change everything to balance out pvp then the rest of the game suffers. The old guys from WW2 didn't cry about the enemy having better weapons. They learned how to kick ass and overcome anything. My granddad would tell me to suck it up and figure it out. There is always a way.

Where did U find a dead horse to beat during these holiday times?
-
Throwing knives and smoke have considerable range of I'm not mistaken. Shoulder charge while not having a heap of range is a ohk melee that doesn't use a melee charge. Each class has strengths and weaknesses, deal with it.
-
You make it sound like no warlock has ever lost a melee fight...
-
5 Replies1: Whether you are willing to admit it or not, hunters do have longer range melees than the warlock.(nightstalker and gunslinger) They may not be hitscan attacks, but they still aren't that challenging to use AND they also can do more damage and apply unique tactical effects. 2: When you say that "warlocks who try to defend themselves are biased", you are partially incorrect. Warlocks who look at the facts and try to make fair argument, (such as myself) have the right to argue against you whether you are correct or not. 3: The warlock melee might be unique and powerful, but other classes have similar unique and powerful abilities also. ( shadestep and jug shield)

4 RepliesNerf night stalkers and we will talk. :0
-
31 RepliesInstead of crying about it why don't you try playing as a warlock. It's the most enjoyable of all the classes
-
6 RepliesYou have demonstrated the most idiotic logic and reasoning I have ever witnessed on these forums. That's the whole purpose of the Amplify perk: to extend the range of the weakest melee in the game.... You want your way, then let's remove blink strike, smoke grenades, and throwing knives. Stop being pathetic. You'll do yourself a favor.

Bump.
-
Buff Thunderstrike
-
16 RepliesThunderstrike is beyond OP. Titans have tiny T-Rex arms. That leave the Hunter, who has a Throwing Knife that's meant for that range. Yet Bungie put a lock on melee that requires no aim and has no risk. You miss your melee? No problem, you don't use it until you deal damage. Throwing Knife? If you accidentally bump the Right Bumper while spawning, you lose it.
-
4 RepliesAre you suggesting that hunters can't throw smoke & knives that far?
-
Edited by Swiftlock: 12/31/2016 3:37:15 AMSee, when I play the game, the other players often don't just stand still. They either keep their distance or try to kill me as they jump and run around. I don't see what good piling on more nerfs will do. If I recall, excessive nerfing is how Destiny became considerably less fun over time.
-
Dude I main a hunter and sure we can throw our melee across map and then finish them off. Get a grip or get good
-
You said it yourself, no other class has that much range, why? Because they aren't warlocks. That's all. Hope that clears your confusion.
-
6 RepliesJust stop, right now.
-
3 RepliesLol no one cares
