I don't understand. They have the lowest agility out of all three classes, and agility is so very important in this game. Also storm trance is only good if the other team doesn't have a super, stormtrance loses to arc blade and HoS up close all the time. The only thing that I think they have going for them that other classes don't is a good melee, but then again titans and hunters have evade abilities while warlocks do not(and I wouldn't count blink because it got nerfed so hard).

Before even reading the post I can tell you why, because they can't find anything else to complain about/ruin.

7 RepliesYou're drunk. Stormcaller is the biggest noob subclass in the game. It's so easy to get kills in PvP with it. Stormtrance lasts WAY too long, it should be half as long. What you lose in agility, you gain back when you pop your super and get those Seventh Column medals.
-
7 RepliesMelee. Not only do most of the melee attacks have broken range, some give you overshield. Combine it with shotguns and you get butthurt players.
-
6 RepliesCause they suck

3 RepliesIonic Blink, Amplitude, Pulsewave, Electrostatic Mind and either Claws of Ahamkara or Ophidian Aspects. The storm grenade is pretty useful and arc bolt isn't bad, it's just not fantastic. Warlocks aren't built for speed, they are built for armor and recovery. Warlocks have the fastest recovery. Anyone playing Stormcaller is using armor / recover. Here's why: Ionic Blink- You get Blink without a cool down Amplitude- Melee range is a little more than 8 meters The melee has a 30 degree snap assist to target Pulsewave- Increases agility Increases recovery Buffs allies - this perk right here is why agility isn't an issue. This perk lasts 10 seconds and no cool down. You recover, get down to red health and it restarts the timer. Electrostatic Mind- Faster Super charge rate Increased Super duration - assuming you have a charged melee and grenade. Not hard to do. Claws of Ahamkara gives you a second melee charge and Snap Discharge, which is pretty damn huge. Ophidian Aspects give you single point sling and quick reload for all weapons. They also come stick with Snap Discharge that allows for faster melee attacks. When paired with a shotgun, GG. You ready your shotgun faster, aim faster and shoot with a shorter cool down as your ready and aim time decreases. Then snap discharge allows for a faster melee response after the trigger is pulled. Stormcaller is the best Warlock class in the game. Which is saying quite a bit since Warlocks are already the least skilled class. Take Voidwalker. Axion Darts with Voidfang Vestments are insane. You toss them within a mile of a target an they'll lock on, not to mention you get a second dart, which both deal something like 110 damage. All Warlock melees a have insane range, period, so you'll win any shotgun encounter, unless you go up against a Stormcaller. Sunsinger. Bare minimum you will trade with this class using sticky nades, especially in Rumble. Not to mention self res with a one-shot melee.

2 RepliesI don't understand most complaints on these forums. xD I typically run Sunsinger and don't understand what's so overpowered about it nor the other subclasses. When I die, I accept that they killed me and move on. If I die by the same thing thousands of times, that's my fault and not theirs. Just shows that I suck at trying to develop a counter to it. I'm not going to immediately make a post complaining about it to defend my 'ever so precious' KD. (Sometimes I will if I'm tired or something and not thinking straight, but that's another topic completely.) I play a game to have fun, not get angry at every little thing that kills me. In my opinion, only a few nerfs were actually needed in this game and those were in the very beginning. Some were later on, but most were in the beginning.

3 RepliesIt's probably because something on each hunter subclass has been hit hard. So hard that there isn't really a point to running a hunter over a Titan or 'lock, PvP-wise at least. Most of this forum has maimed hunter at some point, I know I used to.
-
I would never understand that. I play all three of the classes and I do not see if any of them is weaker or stronger. Maybe because I do not care about supers, do not need them, and do not use them: http://youtu.be/J_dPN25S4-Q But I do care about weapons :)
-
1 ReplyBecause they just got killed by one?
-
2 RepliesOne because kids don't save their super, its there for free kills ( similar to the ones in COD so they don't need death streaks to give the bad kids free kills ) A big problem is that Titans and Hunters lunge when they melee bringing them closer to their opponents while Warlocks really don't. That and someone said it Armor+Recovery and right mow thats good because Titans usually are Speed+Armor (which doesn't make sense because they're the bulkiest character) and Hunter which are usually Speed+Recovery. Gunslinger is pointless now because of all the nerfs, bladedancers not to great either. Nightstalker is alright but its more about area denial than assault. Defender needs a buff because its a really fun class it just never got any love (and I'm a hunter main), I haven't played Sunbreaker in forever so I don't know where its at and Striker is just for 8 year olds
-
6 RepliesIf your a stormcaller and your losing your super to a blade you are thrash honestly. All you have to do is be smart and run blink and not landfall. You just blink backwards and back peddle until it is dead. Actually you don't even need blink. While in storm trance you get so much agility you can just warlock skate backwards and kill the blade. I do it all the time

12 RepliesEdited by Droid: 12/26/2016 5:46:46 PMThe majority of people who complain about the warlock, don't even have one..... so, their opinions are biased. Can't take them seriously. I mean, go to most of these people's profiles who are complaining. 2 hunters and a Titan. 3 hunters.... smh.
-
18 RepliesI'd give up my melee range if they made the warlocks granades good like wombo. Or skip. Or even the agility. If they buffed thoses id be all for the melee nerf completely. The warlock is to slow, weak granades and stupid supers. I just made a titan and a hunter gonna main those guys now playing as a warlock is to much of a disadvantage when faced with good granades and good supers with agile folk.
-
10 RepliesPeople complain about the amplitude Merle, but let's be honest, that's really the only thing stormtrance has got going for it now.
-
2 RepliesComing from experience maiming one they aren't OP. But it's a bit stupid with practice that my Warlock can beat a Hunter in a foot race when I Warlock surf
-
No wonder so many people have a sour opinion about PvP. That why it and PvE should be separated.
-
2 RepliesBecause they are noobs.
-
40 RepliesOnly thing I see wrong is thunderstrike. That bastard can hit you from 10 meters. That IS overpowered.
-
1 ReplyI love the way voidwalker is very balanced right now. The only reason people are complaining is because stormcaller can easily get you from a mile away.
-
2 RepliesIdk...maybe because they can melee you two miles away.
-
3 RepliesWarlocks appear over powered because their abilities need to be very strong to stand their ground because they legitimately do not have evasion skills. Before someone says blink that is just one subclass, not all three. Titans can boost around the map at sprint speed, Hunters have their choice of blink, shade step, and invisibility. The major issue is that when someone plays PVP with a Warlock very well they can be adept at sneaking up on enemies and ignore the short comings of their movement abilities. Maximizing on their strengths and then it seems they are massively overpowered. But a bad player can't pick Warlock and do well in PVP. It just doesn't work like that.
-
4 RepliesIt's a joke among elite hunters such as I because we hate warlocks
-
BAHAHAHAHA
-
20 RepliesEdited by Swiftlock: 12/26/2016 9:21:29 PMBecause of the Amplify Thunderstrike + Shotgun combo. That's why. Not saying it should be nerfed, but I can understand the frusturation when you get smacked from ten feet away and then lit up by a Rangefinder Matador.
-
1 ReplyOf the 3 classes. I can go into PVP with my warlock and destroy. With the other two .....meh. O and I suck at PVP. The hunter by far is the weakest.

Edited by ChromosomyHomie: 12/27/2016 8:07:57 AMAgility is the worst out of the 3 stats. The increased strafe is minimal and the increased jump height slows you down as it takes slightly longer to reset your jumps. That's why pro Titan skaters rock lowest agility and Bones of Eao users put stuff into recovery. Recovery is the best way to go overall which Warlocks can obtain the highest in the stat. Not to mention in the shotgun meta every single one of their melee abilities work great with shotguns. Shotgun punch with Voidwalker regens your health, with Sunsinger you get an overshield, and with stormcaller your melee can snipe them after your shotgun hit(even worse with close and personal perk, +25% melee damage after a shotgun hit). Plus the Obsidian Aspects combined with all that really puts them in a good place PvP wise.
