Player houses for destiny 2 should be a thing
If you guys have player houses in destiny 2 where we can display weapons and armor or put materials in chests rather than vaults I would be extremely happy as I'm sure others would be
Have different tiers and types of houses of course so you can work up to more expensive houses as you go that are bigger and have a better view. Hell give us a loft type deal we can get in the city that overlooks everything.
I'm sure other people have great ideas about this and I'd like to hear them. If bungo did this I'd even consider buying destiny 2 from a retailer to actually support bungie.

1 ReplyI personally don't think player housing should be a thing, but I think clan housing/buildings would be good. And I think somewhere like planet Titan would be a really good place for this. Where clan members can meet up maybe have their achievements on the walls or something. It could be guild halls/housing from the anime Login Horizon.

Part of what makes both games great is that when not running content, you are congregating in social spaces filled with other players, both friends and strangers. It doesn't really matter if you choose to interact with the ones you don't know, it's just being there in one place that gives them a unique social feeling. When WoW went to Garrisons in their last expansion, it really killed the experience of just hanging out in the game. Instead of being in a city filled with other people, you were alone in an instanced area with just NPCs. It sounds nice in theory, I just think the reality of it would be a huge letdown and I'd rather they made whatever social spaces that replace the Tower bigger and more vibrant and interactive.

1 ReplyEdited by Swiftlock: 12/26/2016 9:19:20 PMPlayer housing works in a game like GTA since player homes also act as garages to stash cars, a base to plan for heists, take shelter from enemy players who want to run you over with tanks, escape bounties, etc. I fail to see what functional purpose it would have in Destiny aside from cosmetics. I would rather see Bungie put their resources towards creating features with actual substance and functionality rather than frivolous things.
