The location of Taox
Taox for some of you players who don't know was a wizard who was supposed to train the hive gods. She rebelled against Oryx's father and went missing. After watching a video of a glitch on the dungeons map I took a closer look at the wizard which didn't have the amber like crystal around it. When I compared it to an image of Taox it looked chillingly similar. It is known that Taox went missing but she never fused with the worms which meant she should have died. A grimore card said that she was still alive. If all of these facts do line up then we have been having crucible matches where one misfired rocket, golden gun, hammer of sol, or nova bomb could unleash a wizard that trained Gods...

[/quote] As stated [b][u]many[/u][/b] times before, Taox is not a Hive god trainer. There weren't even any Hive gods to train while Taox was still around. Hell, there weren't even any present-day Hive. They were Proto-Hive, which are Hive without worms. They're speculated to resemble Thrall. We don't even know what Fundament looks like, or Savathûn and Xivu Arath, or...pretty much everything in the Book of Sorrows. How would we get a pic of Taox then? 2 RepliesCertainly interesting. I myself have done this glitch and found the wizard to look similar to Omnigul and Ir Yüt. But now that I look they all look shocking similar. I wonder what the connection is between them. They have the mouths on their robes and the spiked collars on their arms. I've always wondered about this.

1: Taox wasn't a Wizard, she was a Proto-Hive Mother. (This should be enough to debunk your theory, but I'll go on anyway. Why? It amuses me.) Mothers were Proto-Hive tasked with the creation and raising of their offspring. However, Taox was sterile, but had an unusually long life, and so the Osmium King, father of Aurash, Sathona and Xi Ro, decided she would act as a teacher of sorts to his children. 2: She wasn't a "trainer" of the Hive Gods either, since firstly the Hive Gods technically didn't exist at that point, and secondly, see above. 3: Yes, Taox went missing and she didn't enter the pact with the Worms. You're either outright lying to appear more credible or you're so deluded you think some random picture, possibly fanart, of a Wizard is actually depicting Taox. Yeah, I'm done here. Not even going to bring up the fact that you think a single Super could shatter a Hive Crystal... except I just did...... sh*t.

7 RepliesThe Wizard on "The Dungeons" is certainly not Taox. Taox would not look like the Hive we know, she would probably look less like an undead creature and more like a creature you would find on Fundament before it got destroyed. Sadly we have no idea how those creatures would look like. But wasn't Taox preserved in some kind of stasis?

The wizard might be verok Alak-hul 's mate its possible that she was ascendant so oryx trapped her in her own realm and that crystal is there so she can't return ro the material world

9 Replies100% guarantee that the Wizard in the Dungeons map is not Toax, it's just some Hive that earned the privilege of being encased in stone (in the Dreadnaught there is a scannable stone that describes this). Toax was not the trainer of Hive gods, and if u read only the second Book of Sorrow u will know almost everything u need to about her. She is a Mother; one of the proto-Hive that gave birth to countless children. She was a teacher to the Osmium King's children to teach them all they would need to know for when one of them became the next king (more like a school teacher; she never taught anything about fighting and never accepted the Worm or Darkness). Toax feared for her kind because she thought the Osmium King was crazy and that his 3 daughters were not fit to rule, so she betrayed them and called upon another race to kill them. The sisters survived and fled, then found the Worms. When Aurash (Oryx) and her sisters came back to kill Toax and the other races on Fundament, Toax fled to the Ammonites on the moons above Fundament. The Hive eventually took the moons and Toax jettisoned herself out into space inside a cryo chamber so she would not age. She was found by the Ecumene, but they too were killed off by the Hive and she now floats through space once more, sleeping and hoping that the next who awaken her are not those who would kill her. Oryx and his sisters hav never stopped searching, bound to fulfill their oaths to kill the being that betrayed them and their father

That's not Taox because Oryx would be doing horrible things to her every moment of her existence if he captured her. Also in a later verse of chapter 5 in the BoS Oryx still doesn't know where Taox is or even if she's alive.

Taox is proto hive.
