Halo Reach Killstreaks
I know its too late for them to include this in the final game but I would like to know how many of you would want to have killstreak rewards in Halo Reach. I know it sounds like Call of Duty but it would be cool at least I think. You would only be able to select a loadout of three killstreaks though. What do you think?
3 kills- Ammo Drop
4 kills- Random Killstreak
5 kills- Drop Pod of Ally to fight for you
6 kills- Longsword Airstrike/Banshee Precision Airstrike
7 kills- Longsword Airstrike/Banshee Airstrike
8 kills- Equipment
9 kills- ?
10 kills- ?
11 kills- UNSC Mac Gun/Covenant Excavation Beam
12 kills- Pelican/Phantom
13 kills- Elephant/Scarab
14 kills- ?
15 kills- Activate the Halo Rings

OP - The fact that youbrought up 'killstreaks', and the fact that you killstreak layout is almost identical to that of Call of Duty, means I would guess that you have actually played the aforementioned game. If you have, then you would already know that the game has developed into a camp-fest, with little-to-no strategic gameplay techniques, with everybody just waiting to rack up their killstreak rewards. It does not make for balanced, or fun, gameplay.

I just don't think that Killstreaks are Bungie's style. Invasion Slayer drops are one thing, but Killstreaks would just be totally awkward in a Halo match.

Seriously, no. Kill streak rewards are just a flawed system that screws over the other team. Why would you give Rambo more ammo? Just stick with the medals. Love those things. Kill Streaks will just make the game unfair and annoying. The reason Halo is the best game on the FPS market is because it's fair and balanced like Fox News.

Okay so no killstreaks. Instead have an invasion gametype spartans vs. elites. The Spartans are trying to do whatever they can to stop the elites form activating the halo rings. Things work the same way as territories in regular invasion. Also vehicles become available at some point. When the elites finally get to the area they activate the rings. Jeff says elites win! If the spartans manage to hold them off Jeff says Spartans win!
