The new Overwatch comic is absolutely disgusting.
I've had a bad enough day today, then Blizzard has to drop this bullshit on me. Like why? Why are you shoving this down our throats, Blizz? Torbjorn has a wife, like 13 kids, and a nice house, when he so obviously DESERVES to be out on the street, sucking the organs out of rats for sustenance and drinking gutter water? You just lost a customer, Blizzard. I'll see you in Hell, Kaplan.

Lesbian or otherwise in the games. If I wanted to see girls kissing, I will watch shitty TV. Games should have the same level of content as cartoons. Blizzard is just trying to stir controversy, and it triggered me.

I saw this one comment somewhere and it talked about how blizzard took the easy route by making two cute girls making out. Said that Blizzard should try again with roadhog and torbjurn viciously pounding it. I got a good chuckle out of that and I have to say that he is not completely wrong.

I'm interested to see if Tracer pick rate/play time increases or decreases after this. I personally don't really care that Tracer is gay, I think the frames with the rest of the characters were much more interesting to see.

8 RepliesWhile your post deals nothing with it I must say the tracer thing just reminds me of how poorly relationships are handled in popular media. At least here in the west. Seriously, unless you are going to devote a lot of time to it leave it out. This is like the legend of Korra all over again. It felt just as forced and arbitrary.

I really do like a good lore in games and I understand that some people really care about it, but the amount of people getting butthurt about the whole "Tracer-gay-thing" in a multiplayer-only FPS, is really unbelievable. C'mon, gamers, it's not THAT important.

31 RepliesUuuuhhh okay so I see a lot of comments about Tracer. Who cares?! And quite honestly, it's cool to have some freakin diversity. And we can't dismiss the fact that oftentimes women are treated in a misogynistic manner in video games. Scantily clad while the men aren't, often for the sole purpose of pleasing male players. It's cool to have a strong female lead for isn't scantily clad and who wasn't made simply for "eye candy". Overwatch characters are simply that. Characters, and I think Tracer is awesome.
