TitanFall 2 tips?
Just bought the game and currently waiting for it to download so why not ask the community about it? Anyways, what are some helpful tips you guys have for a nub like me?
Also, don't but Ark: Survival Evolved for PS4. Game won't even activate, got a refund and bought TitanFall instead ;)

Edit: People really love Tone and Northstar, it's okay though. It's easier for me to cripple them down with Ion.
Edit 2: I absolutely love Ronin. This dude shreds up close and is absolutely unforgiving

I try to stay away from the fight, up high in the air, so that I can survey the map and close in quickly on any enemies I find. Melee is your friend. A lot of people complain about the melee system, but I find that when I turn a corner quickly, it's best to just melee an enemy that pops up rather than try to shoot. If you're ever stuck just sprinting on the ground and an enemy pops up, slide and hip fire. Especially with the Alternator. Most enemies will shoot right over your head and you'll have free body shots. For the love of all that is holy, FLANK. I usually start Crash Site on a 12-15 kill streak off the first life, because instead of trying to have a shootout across the main hill off the spawn, I just flank them all and get my Titan almost immediately. Use Arc grenades. I know that the gravity and fire star are cool. But nothing is as useful as Arc grenades. They save your life when a Titan sees you and starts heading your way, and they give free pilot kills. Anytime I eject, I look down, spot pilots, tag them with Arc grenades, and they are stuck moving way too slow to stop me from killing them. For the most part, that's all I have.[/quote]

2 RepliesEdited by aiv6: 12/22/2016 3:20:15 AMIf you use the Alternator, don't aim down the sights. At almost any range, the hipfire will be better. The R201 is great, and MGL is fine for your secondary in most game modes. If you want to run faster, learn how to chain your wallruns on each map.

Save up on your credits. If you buy an item with credits you'll keep it and its progress after Regeneration. I prefer the G2 rifle with AR overlay for the sights. It's like using a laser site to pinpoint an entire enemy.

2 RepliesAlthough the R-201 is the starter weapon, it is the best all around weapon. Grappling is good for moving around the map more quickly and more tactically. For taking out Titans as a pilot, find a nice window inside a building, have an anti-titan weapon, and melt that titan. Best done with a friendly titan distracting. The best beginner titan is Scorch, he is tough and has good damage output. Easy to learn and use. That's what I've got

Just the worst game mode is all anyone plays. I duno maybe titan fall just isn't for me but I've been very Dissappointing no one wants to play actual pvp. Instead its pve with the occasional gun fight with an actual player. Edit- ok so only started playing late last night. And the game seems to match you with people in your area. I couldn't find a pilot v pilot all night, but today was able to find them fine. Just wanted to correct my post. 👍

12 RepliesUse stim with an SMG that has the gunrunner attachments. The DMR is the only good sniper. Pair nuke eject with Northstar's tether. Use Scorch's flame shield to literally melt any Titan or infantry at close range. Only use sidearms with snipers and Grenadier primaries. Grapple is a situational ability, don't use it for every map. Use the smart pistol boost during bounty hunt games. Use the anti-infantry sentry boost for hardpoint, use it to guard hardpoints. The SMR is the best Grenadier weapon. Always use low profile. Use phase embark for LTS and CTF. That's all I can think of rn.

4 RepliesThe campaign is a great place to experiment. But basically when youre a pilot just run on walls, shoot and scoot, and dont take on titans unless you have an escape route. For titans, the best and fastest way ive found to getting your titan soon is by rodeoing enemies and giving batteries to friendlies, also each titan is somewhat different so experiment with each until you find "your" titan. Plus be smart with your titan, meaning if the enemy team is all titans and youre the only one on your team with one ready, dont call it in... as you would get rekt. Also remember that titans can survive a whole game as long as you play smart and defenseively.

Always move!! Wall running makes you move quicker and alot harder to hit. Don't be afraid to hip fire, this isn't cod, you don't have to ads all the time.
