Whats a good legendary heavy for PVE?
What do you guys use? What heavy and rolls do you guys use for PVE?

Choleric for Rockets... Ruin Wake or Bretomart's for the MG

I like to run a sniper with surplus and a heavy with surplus. That makes it so that any heavy ammo drop i get fills my launcher or machine gun completely. Heavies i use are dragons breath and the crucible machine gun.

Any launcher with high speed and blast radius, or tracking (you don't need it but it's nice). Any machine gun with good range and impact. The Suros launchers have great speed and blast radius and if you're lucky enough to get one with tracking so much the better. Tracking is better with slower speeds though, gives the projectile more time to correct for movement. I like Bretomart's Stand or The Silvered Dread for MG's. I also have a pretty solid Objection IV from New Monarchy.

Dragons breath for grouped adds. Unending deluge with your warlock booties. Bretomarts stand for some stable machine gunning. Choleric Dragon is still decent with tracking I find.

Really anything works. I like Qullim's Terminus and any rocket really. I mainly use exotic heavies though. I might start using legendaries if I start to like Ace of Spades again.

The new raid machine gun destroys (especially with the burn modifiers) The IF Materia (or something like that) with triple double tap you can lay down a tone of damage on bosses and tanks.

I use Baron's Ambition and The Silver Dread for the most part. I don't really use rocket launchers that often but I do have a couple sweet Choleric Dragons and my Harrowed Elulim's Frenzy

5 RepliesHeavy slot is for exotics. If you absolutely have to use a legendary there, use either one of the legendary swords, a rocket Launcher with tripod or tracking, or a slow fire, high impact heavy machine gun.

2 RepliesEdited by puppyk1sses: 12/21/2016 4:18:43 AMDepends... crowd control = rockets - clown cartridge, tripod, or cluster - velocity + blast radius Boss/elite damage = hmg - anything low ROF, high impact - stability, range, ammo in that order CQC (no other close range guns) = swords It really depends what my primary and secondary are, and what i'm doing, and what my mood is.
