Did one of you great great grandparents ever meet a president or ruler of a country?
Did one of your ancestors do something that changed history?
Did someone in your family serve an important role in a war?
Maybe even a family friend who was famous
Or are you clueless and could care less about a bunch of dead people?
We were talking about family ties to important people in class last week. Was wondering if the Flood/Guardians/People/Peasants of Offtopic have important figures in their families. I'm genuinely curious.

1 ReplyGovernor of Florida during civil war. (Yikes) Great great something fought with George Washington, was captured, British didn't have time to execute him (thankfully) so they just made him sign he wouldn't fight the British, he was released and went right back to George Washington and fought again. Theres some more like the Gamble family that are relatively obscure too.

My great great great (possibly another great) grandfather was a policeman and was apparently the inspiration for one of Conan Doyle's characters in Sherlock Holmes. No-one directly famous or important though.
