Recently announced was a Guardians of the Galaxy game made by Telltale, praised for the walking dead games, and recently, batman.
I'm personally hyped, this could be great.

1 ReplyWhy haven't they made a Firefly one yet
-
1 ReplyDidn't know so many people felt so negatively about Telltale
-
4 RepliesBorderlands was their best IMO. Walking dead as a close second. GoT, Batman, and TWAU were meh. Didn't know much about their story in the first place, so I couldn't really get attached.
-
...they just ruined my hype for the movie now...

Edited by Pahvi: 12/20/2016 9:40:35 AMI've only played back to the future through, tried twd, but it's simply shit to play
when playing w/ hide "hotspots": in the beginning, when using the key on the handcuffs, the hotspot is in the CHAIN, not in the actual keyhole on the LOCK
This is one example why i hated it = i rather watch than play them. I usually like point & clicks, but the telltale way, is nay.
holding your hand cutscene simulator
Is TellTale ever going to make another Sam and Max game? I played the Devil's Playhouse back when it was free on PS+ on the PS3, and I thought it was alright.
-
1 ReplyNot a fan.

6 RepliesEdited by Psychic Donuts: 12/19/2016 9:24:17 PMTelltale is basically just turned into a dev to make branded games. When was the last time they made something of their own? I want them to start making their own stories and hop off this media money train.
-
I really don't like Telltale.
-
3 RepliesI don't know. I like GOTG. There's just so many of these things that it's practically a running gag so it's hard to get hyped.

14 RepliesEdited by DarkLordBacon: 12/19/2016 6:53:58 AMI don't know about Batman being good. Played all five episodes. They were pretty bad. Sometime there were no sound effects, the game crashed, very laggy, Penguin resting his arm on a invisible object, choices don't really affect the story, and terrible loading screens. I was in the middle of a fight with Penguin when it was heating up, and bam! Retarded loading screen placement. There were also floating eyeballs and mouths... Not a single episode went by without a problem. Also, Batman is supposed to be a master of combat but has trouble with Penguin. He's a tactical genius, but in the game relies entirely on his technology to plan it out. No complaints on the story, just the gameplay.

That does sound like a great idea on paper I personally think walking dead is the best series so far But I did enjoy batman and wolf among us a lot Game of thrones I still have yet to finish

8 RepliesEdited by crazycazza95: 12/19/2016 1:36:40 PMYet another franchise that telltale bases their games off of. Can't they make a game from scratch instead of piggybacking off very well know names. List of examples: Borderlands Walking dead Batman Guardians if the galaxy. Game of thrones. The wolf amoung us is an exception but that didn't help telltale's rise.
-
Like all Telltale games, it has potential but as far as I'm concerned, Telltale have yet to top "The Wolf Among Us" so there is slight get fear that GOTG will be good but it won't be great.
-
Movies? I prefer actual games.
-
Look if you enjoy telltale games by all means, enjoy them. For me I'd rather have a company make a proper full game over an episodic series of animations and choices with a few QTEs to keep the person from doing nothing. Again if you enjoy them that's awesome, keep enjoying them. This is just my brutally honest opinion on TellTale games as a whole.
-
Cool....marvel's worst hero team(i'm not a fan of GOTG....)
-
I'm excited. My favorite so far has been Batman. Sure, it wasn't as decision oriented, and there was a lot of QTEs, but I love the lore and story of Batman, and I liked their approach with it. It was like the New 52 Batman with a few different twists and very mature. I think if they can land the humor part and get the story as they did with Batman, they'll nail GOTG.
-
2 RepliesI love it. I love all the telltale games except for Batman. My god that was shit
-
3 RepliesPersonally, I don't really care about anything made by telltale anymore. Such a boring and unoriginal company in my very honest opinion.
-
4 RepliesIf they blend the humor of Tales from the Borderland w/ a good story it could be fantastic. They haven't made a bad game since TWD season 1.
-
I hope we get to play as Star Lord. He is one of my all time favorite super heroes
-
1 ReplyOnly if they bring Agent Venom in, too.

2 RepliesEdited by Tartan 118: 12/18/2016 11:09:16 PMI only got into TT games with Game of Thrones, because I already knew and loved many of the characters and the lore. Hopefully the same thing happens with this.
