Had that happen to me. It is more than lag. When it happened to me, my team mate was in a gun fight with the warlock that I was watching happen I put a couple shots on the warlock to help... I was at the special ammo about 50 feet away... all of a sudden I died. That warlock was highlighted and it said I died by the melee... from 50 feet away while the warlock was in a gun fight with my team mate mid jump? I have seen very fishy things coming from said sub class.
