How do i get skeleton keys?
I do strikes but can nvr open the treasures cuz i need skeleton keys how do i get these

5 RepliesHave you completed the Bad Blood quest from shiro? That rewards you a key, and then and only then will strikes drop keys as loot :))

Bosses drop them, you can get them with your reputation after the strike (this also means double drops are possible- trust me, I've had them.) There's also a guaranteed key from the first nightfall your account does every week.

Nightfall was bugged for me i did the nightfall 6 times and got 5 keys. 3on my titan 1on my hunter and warlock. It kept saying that i could get a skeleton key on completion. After i did it on my warlock it stopped saying that. First time i did the nightfall i got no rewards or skeleton key, I did the nightfall from start to finish and did damadge to the boss.

Step 3: you must survive for half an hour in one of the portals with the lost in time debuff on constantly. Step 4: you must now kill atheon without times vengeance and then face xyler the timeless who has 9 billion health and spawns gorgons ( the nightfall modifier from year one is on during this fight). Step 4: after infusing xylers heart with 2000 gaurdiens in the crucible with kinetic damage ( death resets progress) You may now buy one replica, none functioning skeleton key for 4000 silver.

My steps: 1.Play Siva strike playlists 2. Give up and go afk 3. Run car exhaust into room.... Then out of no where, a drop!

I have 5 in the vault. Gave up opening chests. I forget they are even there, any others i get i just delete. There should be a better selection in the chests, theres 3 or 4 strikes ive gotten a tread upon stars from & thats just dumb. Strike specific loot should vary from 1 strike to the other.

1 ReplyYou can get one for completing the nightfall your first time that week. I've found the drop rate for the keys inside of the lower level strikes is better than trying to get them to drop in Heroic strikes. I did like 10 regular strikes and got 3 to drop whereas in the Heroics I did about 10 and got one to drop. It just seems like the lower ones more reliably I've the keys as a drop.

Since the Dawning I have had more skeleton keys than I ever had before, I get one at least every other strike or 3rd one at that
