Why are you buffing all guns when you just need to need to nerf shotguns
Come on guys are you that thick you are buffing guns all you need to do is nerf shotguns and make exotics feel good

Shotguns have the shortest range of any weapon, shorter then stormlock melees. Nerfing shotguns wont stop people from using them, itll only give them more reason to outright bumrush you. So no. Shotguns dont need anymore nerfs, theyve been hit 9 times, more then any other weapon in destiny. Theyre fine, dont like em? Use a side arm or a fusion... Buff primaries, they all really need some love.

I am not the biggest special weapons user, mostly I have been using sidearms lately. I had a go with a fusion rifle and a shotgun yesterday. It is very easy to get shotgun kills and they feel good to use. I used the matador. If you can get used to precharging the fusion then they seem pretty good too. I was using the vacancy. Maybe sidearms need a little bit of a buff.

It's weird how guns in this game feel like nerf darts. With the exception of titans, no class in this game is wearing heavy battle armor. Guns wreck shit. Scout rifles are probably using something like a .308 or .30-06 which will pretty well wreck your day. Autos and pulse rifles are probably closer to 5.56 which you still don't want to be on the receiving end of... Bullets. Hurt. They feel like we're using pellet guns.

1 ReplyAgreed. Although I do think they need to make a few adjustments to the non-meta archetype primaries, and provide a solution to RNG bullets on hand cannons.
