GameSpy master server error?
Hey there,
when i go to play Halo:CE for pc online it gives me the error "error occurred trying to contact GameSpy master server". Can someone help me out and tell me how i can play online? I have already forwarded my ports and allowed it through my firewall.

Try turning off the firewall of your router/DSL modem/cable modem. To get into the network settings of Halo select settings from the main menu then select network settings. To get to your router's/DSL modem's/cable modem's home page: 1)Find out what your default gateway address is. 2)Open up a web browser. 3)Type in the default gateway address into the web browser's address bar. 4)You will be asked to enter in the administrator username and password. By default the username and password is "Admin" without quotations. 5)From there you're on your own. [Edited on 06.18.2010 10:06 AM PDT]

I usually get that error when I'm disconnected from the internet. I guess you should check your network configuration.
