Aegis Shield on Nexus Strike BROKEN
If someone dies with the shield, you can't pick it up anymore. My fireteam tried multiple times but had to wipe about 5 times to reset it.
This is very annoying on nightfall. Fix this Bungie.
EDIT: STOP WITH THE "GIT GUD" POSTS. Dying happens to everyone, and this is a BUG that needs to be fixed, not dismissed because "lol you just suck".

1 ReplyWill it not let you shoot the shield if you have the artifact that gets rid of your super? Noone last night in my fireteam could shoot it. That's the only thing we had on in common.

I just did the strike and died with the Shield and a Team mate it picked it up just fine.

I can say that the person who died and self-res'd can pick it up. Haven't noticed if anyone else could or not though.

I have to be honest. I havent held the relic in a long time that i had a hard time figuring out how it worked again. Atleast i diddnt try to melee the boss with it xD

Yep same thing happened to us... It doesn't happen every time but it did happen to us once.... It started making a weird ass noise and only let you get to about 60% trying to pick it up again then it would glitch and reset your pickup over and over. So we just had to wipe and start the fight over

11 RepliesIf people manage to die whilst carrying a relic that grants invulnerability, then it sounds like you have bigger issues than the Nightfall to worry about!

Edited by Clarky--Cat: 12/16/2016 1:57:58 PMA random grabbed it yesterday and tried to melee the boss with it (lol). He died and the relic respawned but we couldn't pick it up for a few minutes. It was kind of flickering like it was constantly spawning. After a few minutes we could grab it again.

They'll probably fix this along with the memory of felwinter artifact where you can't use the PowerShot with the relic.

No issue. My fireteam died a few times holding it but we're able to pick it up after.

Yes you can I saw this post before then a similar thing happened to me, but i realised you drop it if you're being shot! I do love the noobs running around in circles doing laps trying to figure out what it does 😂

Not true. If someone died with it, keep picking it up for a few moments. It'll glitch but eventually fix itself. No need for wiping!

Have not had this happen. However on my alternate account with 350 light and 1500 grimoire when I get matched with randoms they literally run to the aegis because they have to be the gucking ones to grab it then proceed to run around for 2 minutes not having a damn clue what to do with it. Example that happened earlier. Teammate runs in and snakes the aegis. Runs around for 2 minutes not knowing what to do. Then runs to the middle circle where the boss is forget his name and dies. I went and picked it up and it worked fine for me though so idk why you're having that problem

If it's the glitch that let's you pick it up for 1 second and then it goes back to its spot. The solution is to pick it up and spam the melee button to start the attack animation. It'll fix it.
