Something else I noticed about fallout 4

Or perhaps I'm judging overthinking it lol. But did certain monsters in game really do anything wrong? My two examples are in the "Devil's Due" quest and "taking independence.". The savage deathclaw is simply a mother (at one point they do say her.) going after her kids. Yes from a first glance she is the monster but her journey is t that different from SS's. just a parents fighting through whatever's in their way to save their child. With taking independence in a sense we are the bad guy seeing as the mierlurks (sp?) are really just protecting their eggs. Now this could all just be part of the moral grey are that is most of the game but something I still noticed.

  • With the Devils Due quest I found the egg and decided that it should go back to the mother. I took it back to her. She let me walk away. The Deathclaw IN the museum on the other hand got put down cause he came at me first. With the quest where you need to clear out the castle for the Minutemen, you really don't have a choice. And besides, the Castle belonged to the Minutemen in the first place. Seems that Devils Due was more morally grey than Taking Independence.

  • Well killed the Deathclaw trying to kill me, but I returned it to the Mothers nest. First time. Deathclaw did not try to kill me so I let it be with its egg.

    • The way I see it, I need caps, killing things gets me caps therefore all the things must die so I can live in luxury. Furnishing my modded mansion and collection of power armor and weapons isn't cheap you know. That deathclaw had to die so I could afford a fatman for my wall. Her sacrifice will be remembered but it was important and had to happen.
