Have you guys tried using non-meta weapons since SBMM was relaxed?
I've personally have been using grim citizen and stillpiercer.

I very rarely play the meta simply because the weapons themselves do not appeal to me. Pulse Rifles are among my least used weapon type. There are only a very small few I actually enjoy using (Outbreak Prime, Red Death, STELL MEDULLA~). Clever Dragon just feels awkward to me and as for Grasp of Malok; I hate the noise that standard Autos and Pulses make; sounds like ripping paper rather than firing a gun. Really the only meta weaponsI use are MIDA Multi-Tool and Imago Loop and even then:- - MIDA I like simply because it looks and feels cool, nothing to do with meta stuff. - My Imago Loop is well rolled indeed, but out-ranged by the Palindrome which doesn't concern me. For the most part, I use my Zarinea-D Auto Rifle.

I was using hung jury and doing pretty well with it. Usually get in matches with similarly skilled people, avg or below avg like myself. When they changed it I've ran in to some REALLY good players. Will switch to my clever dragon but it doesn't help that much. One problem: The lag that i've seen personally is equal to the lag before. Same amount of red bar players each match. A player like me was hurt more than helped by the changes. However, i do understand the plight of the top tier players. I get it. I'm ok with it.

I've not been a consistent part of the "meta" since Thorn/Last word were the top snipers in the game. I rock domes with my peril, colovance's, Hatchet, teacup, Thesan, and Nemesis Star. Notice how the primaries are all banner weapons? Bungie needs to use them as the gold standard while designing all guns for Destiny 2. Every banner gun I've ever had is incredibly well designed. Even with garbage perks, the gun itself is usable and consistent. Take notes.
