I never really got into AC back when it was a respected franchise (I had metal gear solid so I had my stealth fix) but a couple years ago I attempted getting into the series and it's just not possible for me to enjoy it I started with Unity (sadly) and despite having the bugs patched at that time it was still very meh. I couldn't get into the story plus the world felt very boring Then I decided to go back to where it started. The first one. So I got the first one and booted it up and it had no subtitles!! What the shit?! How does a game from 2007 not have subtitles?? When it comes to games I NEED subtitles because there's multiple things going on an I just can't focus myself for some reason. Plus the combat was bizarre. Just mash square/X till completion? Trash. I didn't even play enough to evaluate the stealth Now I've tried Black Flag the supposed "last great" AC game and I was enjoying it! I thought this would finally get me into the series but little did I know that reality was just around the corner. I was intrigued by the story and wanted to know more but the stealth was mediocre at best. No sneak ability? I'm supposed to just walk casually from leaf pile to leaf pile? Wtf is this? I dare say it but Unity AT LEAST had the stealth down mostly. Plus the movement is so -blam!-ing spazzy that if you so much as breath on your controller while you're in a hay bale you'll pop out and immediately get into combat and just infuriating you plus the combat is garbage still. Did Ubisoft ever evolve this series? I'm not wasting my money on any more of these games. Why the hell is it even called a stealth game? It's hardly stealth and there are no repercussions if you do something like murder someone in the street out in the open. AC is not a stealth game. Quit fooling yourselves
