Improve ELO/KD on Destiny Tracker
Hey there pro gamers :D
So...Destiny is my first shooter and that's why I had a pretty rough start. I've played Destiny since year 2 and at the very beginning of my crucible "career" I totally -blam!-ed up. I'm pretty sure the Destiny tracker resetted the ELO values of every player, but of course they are not able to reset the KDs since they are saved in the stats of each character...Anyway, about one year after that I became much better, but my overall K/D displayed on Destiny Tracker is still at 0,9 :(.
Now I'm trying so -blam!-ing hard to get this K/D up to 1 or higher not only for myself but also because it's difficult to find a good fireteam with such a bad ELO and K/D....But is it possible to get the K/D higher now since I've had so many games where I was just awful? I'm not sure whether it's too late or not...Would the K/D improve if I'd delete one of my characters (with the worst K/D)?
I hope that someone's better informed than I am, because I really care about my K/D (I know I shouldn't, but it's not easy to get away from that).

I had all negative trials KD's and crucible KD's. Now all characters are positive KD's in both trials and normal crucible. I'd suggest deleting a character and using hat character as your "try hard" character for a while and see where your stats lie. You can purchase level 40 boosts and subclass boosts for $30 or so it the old fashioned way and just play pve until that character is level 40. If you don't have a special tie to your current characters I'd definitely delete one or two and make two new ones with your favorite classes and just focus on playing your best while using those characters.

Deleting a character won't help, it measures total kills to total deaths of THAT character; so you can either grind up match by match until yours k/d is even, or you can start a whole new character. 2. Now that I have answered your inquiry, please change the tag to #Destiny; this is #Gaming and is intended for games other than Destiny. 3. It's just a stat in a videogame...once you reach the age of 18, it doesn't matter anymore (you will have other things to care about). 4. Have a great day, and a festive holiday season.
