The Last Word is not a Weapon of Sorrow, it's just a famous hand cannon that was wielded by Dredgen Yor's two biggest enemies, so naturally Thorn and TLW hav a lot of history together. Weapons of Sorrow are weapons that are corrupted by Darkness. Thorn, Touch of Malice, and all 3 forms of Necrochasm are Weapons of Sorrow. Bad Juju is not a Weapon of Sorrow, but is actually a gun Toland created to imitate the Weapons of Sorrow

It was originally a scout rifle which Toland himself infused with Hive magic in order to aid in the fight against the Darkness. After Dredgen Yor went to the Moon and became corrupted by the Darkness his hand cannon, which he thought of as a beautiful Rose, became corrupted by the Hive, and thus could no longer be thought of as a beautiful Rose, but a thorn. Hence the name. Necrochasm is believed to be a Guardian weapon which was lost on the Moon. And over time drained of its power, became a husk of its former self. It was later found by the Hive who infused it with their magic, thus becoming a Weapon of Sorrow. Touch of Malice is of course a Weapon of Sorrow since it's created using parts of three Exalted Hive. Not to mention the Calcified Fragments which one must find in order to obtain it. Fragments which unlock the Book of Sorrows.

Dredgen Yor never corrupted Shin and Weapons of Sorrow have Hive magic involved in their creation or abilities which the Last Word clearly does not.

In crucible it was, you could see all the sorrow you cause to the enemy when you snipe them cross map.

The last word was made by tex macina (tell my if i got the name wrong ) before the wall were build so i dont think that tex macina hade any knowles of the wepons of sorrow i am not even sure that they knew the existence of the hive

3 RepliesSadly, TLW didn't used to have stupid green lights, they were light blue. Some dipshit thought TLW and Thunderlord should have green lights in Y2.

I don't believe last word would be a weapon of sorrow. Weapons of sorrow have to be previous guardians weapons and they have to have some sort of hunger for its own kind. They also usually require some sort of hive sorcery. Necrochasm requires you to kill hive with it and then kill Crota and get the crux which is a hive artifact.
