Here's a question for all of the people aggressively fighting against more vault space: Why? In what way does increasing vault space affect you that you can't let anyone else have more?

  • Because it's unnecessary and detracts from fixing actual issues with the game. With only a handful of people still working on D1, they need all the resources they can get to keep free fun stuff coming until D2.

and where do we keep putting this stuff? what's the point of giving us new free stuff when we have no place to put it, they are bringing back even more older "re-imagined" armor for all the characters.

  • Or you could just delete crap that you'll never feasibly use... If you have time to wear every set of armor, every week, that you collect, you need to step outside. If you're like normal people, you'll just break it down because you realize it's pretty worthless. Now, granted, there are a few things I can understand keeping (raid weapons and maybe unique armor from strikes) but most armor looks like a pile of crap and there aren't nearly enough weapons to fill the slots unless you're holding onto stuff that you need to let go.

  • What issues are the live team going to fix? This is where "to each their own" comes into play. I could care less about SBMM. To me, Vault space is more important and I would start playing again. I would not start playing more just because they patched SBMM->CBMM. I could not care less about that. Plus they already made their point about SBMM. It isn't going to happen. So what else should the live team focus on? No one seems to have an answer to that. So why not more Vault space? It would make quite a few people happy.

  • I meab, there IS the Dawning starting up soon, which includes a large amount of things that people have been asking for. While it may not be "new" content, per say, it's still a lot of stuff coming in and probably required all of the live team to work on and push out.

  • The Dawning is the reason I want more vault space. It is great they are giving us an update that is more feature rich than expected. But with it comes a lot more loot. I think 3 armor sets per character. That is an additional 45 armor pieces! So, I have a choice, delete 45 old pieces and grind for the new stuff or don't bother with the new stuff at all. It sucks that I need to make that choice. When I think about it...it makes me wonder why I played other activities so much. Which then makes me wonder why I would play new activities more than once. Run a few SRL races with friends and then play the new strikes a few times and I have the experience. The hook has always been the loot. Why limit it? Idk...it kind of sucks tbh.

  • The hook to me had always been the experience, which is why I took an entire year's hiatus and came back at the tail end of year two. It was barren, and now I'm interested to see what else they do. As you said though, to each their own. Content people will be happy and loot people will be frustrated and probably break down that house of Judgement armor they've been holding on to for the past year.

  • Why because I don't find the crucible to be all that fun? I was never someone who went into the SBMM threads and said I was against it, because the outcome of that crusade wasn't going to impact my experience one way or another. The real cancer of the community comes from people who argue against something that doesn't impact their experience negatively, but could improve someone else's experience.
