My General Items Vault has been nearly maxed since TTK started. I still have Sapphire Wire ffs. I've kept ships, sparrows, shaders, emblems, etc. I don't want to dismantle them due to their sentimental value.

  • You can dismantle ships, shaders, and emblems and they go to the kiosk, and trade in the sapphire wire. It has no point what so every

  • Except that sapphire wire is a rare item now. It also serves as a nostalgic reminder.

Think its about time to trade in that saphire wire that's worthlessly taking up space...

  • People said Box of Raisins were useless last year. But I kept them and I got... well... what everyone else got that didn't save them. But hold on to your saphire wire. The way I figure it, Bungie keeps introducing so many damn "currencies" that eventually they will exhaust all options until the point they have to reuse them.

  • Yeah. Didn't get spelling right, but know. And by "currencies" I was including all the things we collect to gain other things: radiant materials, exotic shards, strange coins, weapon parts, etc etc. So, not just Glimmer and Legendary Marks. And silver. Prolly even include in the broader definition things like Planetary Materials (which haven't been made obsolete) and single use (non-goods) items like Token of Crap.

  • Thought about it and Planetary items count. And totally forgot Tokens of Crap were ever used for anything other than rep boosters. They were useful for buying stuff for like two weeks. Then they just became rep boosters or dust collectors.

  • Yeah but then they wouldn't be my original drops. I know it's silly but they're sentimental
