Why is it ALWAYS the people who have no idea what the -blam!- they're doing (especially with gear) that are always crying about vault space. Seriously. Your hunter is a fustercluck and I couldn't even bring myself to look at the other characters. Maybe the reason you idiots hoard so much shit is because you're confused as all hell and wouldn't know a good roll if it sat on your tier 6 faces. Keep the great shit, discard the terrible shit and move on. Bet your vault wouldn't look so full then , would it? And as far as being a "loot based" game, that's correct. That also means you'll probably be getting a lot more loot. So, put down the pacifier and start deleting your crap. I would much rather they work on important shit, which is basically anything other than f'n vault space for the 3rd time. For those that don't know... Fortydaysofrage- psn Feel free to double check my work. Lol

  • A game isn't just meant for just one person you have different types of people. Rather your any of the following: 1. PVP player 2. PVE player 3. Collector player (striving to be the overachiever) 4. Fun player (Looking to just have fun) So please when you read this if certain parts irritate you. Just understand that it wasn't meant to benefit you, but the players it does benefit. To defend a lot of others that might agree with me on the thoughts below or not. The following things should be done in destiny that might bring this game back to full life: 1. Get rid of SBMM 2. Bring old raids back (VOG & Crota) 3. Bring back pocket infinity, vex mythoclast, and nechrochasm. 4. Fix respawning locations. 5. Put in kiosks for: Legendary armor, Legendary weapons, ghosts, artifacts, and class items. 6. Put ammo back to year two settings before April update. 7. Have xur sell exotic shards again. 8. Have a way to buy emotes from the kiosks that have not been obtained that are no longer in eververse. (Not everyone can drop 50 dollars in the Playstation store) 9. Fix the weapons that need buffing that are trash because of the update when rise of iron dropped. Along with others that desperately needs them. 10. Bring all year 1 weapons and armor in to the loot pool. To me everyone will stay busy if these 9 are put into the game. Considering everyone has already dismantled all old raid gear sets. The kiosks and old raids alone will put the grind back into destiny. By that I mean you will have the following to look forward to each week: 1. Vault of glass (Normal & Hard mode) 2. Crota (Normal &a Hard) 3. King's Fall (Normal & Hard mode) 4. WOTM (Normal & Hard mode) 5. Nightfalls 6. Weekly bounties 7. Farming for the items in the kiosks that you haven't obtained. I mean who wouldn't want there beloved fatebringer, black hammer, and sword breaker for you shotgunners out there back. I mean everyone have the things they miss or don't miss but it's honestly not about just 1 player. It's about every person that sits there ass down on the couch or there gaming chair and picks that controller up to play a game that is made to there style of gaming. Bump this comment even if one of the ideas wasn't what you like. I know at least a few are what you would like.

  • I have several T11 and T12 sets of armor for each subclass. I use different builds for different burns, between PvP and PvE, And for all sorts of different reasons. I'm not an "aesthetics" person. I keep things based on stats and perks, and I need vault space badly.

  • I collect stuff. Y1 trials, banner, raids, poe, queens and random legendarys. Y2 trials, banner, kings fall, challenge of elders, strike exclusives, SRL gear, random legendarys Y3 trials, banner, wotm, strike exclusives, random legendarys That's a ton of stuff, why does Pokémon, a 1995 game have more space then a 2014 console game that just dropped old gen? Name me a single way this negetively affects you. One.

  • Rage you need to understand there are different types of players in destiny and just because this sounds stupid to you this can be the second most important thing to others. Quit acting like peoples' values in a game are invalid to you if they dont match, its very childish. Adding more vault space helps everyone and can never be negative. I'm in all support for more vault space. If they want to make it payable i would buy it. Like $5 for a page of (weapons, gear, or other) type of deal. But i will say it might not happen because of destiny 2 is their main focus so high hopes but dont sleep on it and wake up disappointed.

Excellent comparison, Americans are sending help to africa, some Americans start to protest. American 1: "They have plenty to eat, I have enough every day!" "No more aid!" American 2: But it helps them and isn't costing you anything, you too can benefit from it, say you end up in Africa (start to collect stuff) American 1: "Your logic makes sense but I'm against it because of reasons!"

Everything has an "effect", everything. We have enough vault space for the average player to be comfortable. How about not running the same 3 strikes everyday when loading "random", fix that first.

  • Because it allows player to keep more weapons, weapons they want to take out later for a new experience or just to have fun in pvp I'm still waiting for one reason why it's negetive

  • In game, it doesn't negatively affect anyone. However, if it takes people, time and resources away from bungie fixing gameplay issues or preparing destiny 2, then it negatively affects everyone. I'm indifferent to whether they increase vault space as an isolated issue. But at a time when crucible matchmaking and lag are directly affecting the experience many people have in the game, I think bungie's resources should be used to address that before anyone works on vault space.

  • Adding a page or 2 to the vault doesn't take away resources, whatever they plan on fixing (hand cannon accuracy, high impact pulses) they'll do either way, but if vault space is not requested they will ignore it

  • Seems like the opposite is true too - even if it gets requested, they will ignore it.

  • THANK YOU. All these stupid children collecting every shitty gun that ever drops...no-one needs more than 108 guns, NOT including the 30 you can store on EACH CHARACTER.

  • It isn't about needing the guns. It is about wanting to collecting them. So collector's need more space. You questioned my desire for increased vault space in another thread and I gave you my answer before. Why does it matter to you at all? How would increased vault negatively impact your experience with the game? I don't understand the crusade by anti-vault people. It is sort of petty to be against something that clearly many people want (not just me btw haha) that would have no impact on you. And to be clear, with SBMM basically getting shot down by Bungie already, what would you say should be prioritized ahead of Vault space? It isn't like Vault space is going to take away from the planned updates. So, what should the Bungie live team work on?

  • What should be prioritised over vault space? Destiny 2. This game is essentially finished. The ttk burnout was fine, because we knew more was coming. This time around, we don't. As it currently stands, what we have is the end product. Bungie should waste no more resources on it's development, and instead focus on Destiny 2, and hopefully learn from Destiny's mistakes.

  • The people working on destiny 2 are separate. Only the live team is working on the current destiny.

  • I agree with that. But they have a live team dedicated to Destiny RoI. So what should they prioritize? Content? Definitely. Crimson Days and an April update should and will be their top priorities. Those foundations were laid last year. So aside from actual content...what should the live team focus on to improve experience?

And the Insensitive tone-deaf award of the day goes to you, man. Congratulations. Edit: also, in response to your ending statement about them working on other things, adding more vault space literally takes almost no work at all. It's changing a number value in a single line of code. The fact that this cannot be done is a serious indicator for how poorly the game manages resources, and that should be of serious concern to EVERYONE. This further reinforces my statement that you are tone-deaf in regards to this game and how badly it's been f*cked up by bad code and poor design choices, and you have absolutely NO room to talk about the collecting habits of other players.

  • A bit harsher than I'd put it, but I have to grant the point. I'm a <4 month Destiny noob and I've figured out that what matters is the gear and perks that helps me play a better game. The stuff I keep in vault are things I will likely use when I start building my other classes or they are useful things that I don't want taking up slots. I.e. , I'm pretty sure that stick of celery will have use someday, but I'm not going to let it take space that could be better used for SIVA consumables. While I do keep alternate loadouts so I can adjust to mission needs, I generally need parts, marks, and motes more than I need clutter.
