HOARDER! Get help!

You guys want to ask for that vault space increase. I've played a lot of mmo's and most of them make you pay "CASH" to increase inventory space. I know everyone hated the Festival of the Cost shenanigans, but we don't pay monthly for this game, so something like paying for more vault space wouldn't be a bad idea in Bungie's/Activision's mind. Paying something bungie gave us for free in the past would most likely anger us more. So pestering Bungie about this when they can update our vault space for free is the best idea.

I'd love more vault space! Or, maybe a kiosk to hold loot from each raid? Any type of additional space would be fantastic! For me, it's not just about collecting. Some loot was really hard to acquire, (RNG hates me) and you never know what loot might be forever removed from the loot pool and therefore unobtainable in the future. Some of my vault items are reminders of epic Destiny moments, while others were just the result of a serious grind fest. Either way, I'm not ready to part with some of that old loot yet. Call me whatever you want. Name calling hasn't bothered me for many, many a year. lol Honestly, I don't understand the hostility coming from some players who don't need the extra vault space, and apparently HATE the idea of extra space being given for those who want it. Seems like an odd thing to be concerned about.
-
I, along with pretty much every Destiny player, would be really happy if the vault space got increased again. As some have already noted, we're getting more stuff in Rise of Iron then back in the Taken King, it is very annoying running out of storage space so quickly.
-
I collect mainly ONE of each raid gear, and the damn thing is full to the brim
-
Good idea. No reason not to increase it.
-
While we have no reforge, I have my vault full of "close to god rolls" items, from weapons to gear... I need a bigger vault. Signed.
-
my vault is full just from hunter gear.. we should have a vault per charter.. consumables and weapons can still share
-
They've been stingy with Vault space since players first asked for them to increase it before TDB dropped. Where we are now in terms of Vault space should've been what was available by the time HoW got here.
-
Lol @ all the anti vault space protestors. For me, extra vault space has little to do with how you manage your gear or if you're a hoarder or how we just can't let go of things. It's all about currency for me. Legendary gear that you won't equip is still valuable to me because it breaks down into legendary marks, weapon/armor parts, and glimmer. Marks and glimmer are capped at a certain amount so I throw all my legendary stuff into the vault to break it down for currency that I know I'll need later. Is it game breaking for me? No it's not. But it would be nice to not have to waste currency because there's no more room to store it. It's a convenience thing, nothing more.

It hurts no one. There isn't a real argument to be made against it. The only semi valid one I've read is "it takes away valuable time from the live team " Sure, it's gonna take a very very small amount of time but that's ok. Remember, they're not reinventing the wheel here, this is just more server space for our vaults. Also, the extra space is incredibly small. It's just not a lot of data space needed to, say, double the vault.
-
Bungie gave us the most inept UI ever. A shoot and loot game without a vault to put it in despite being 'next gen only' now. smh
-
same argument over and over.. bungie seems to wnat us to make decisions on what to keep and what not to, in a loot based game where collecting each item has become a huge goal for many of the players with thousands of hours. Maybe we play differently than bungie expected us too. why shouldn't we covet each set, 198 pieces and that is since ROI, previous to it were hundreds more with factions, iron banner, queen, desolate, srl, raid and trials gear and weapons. Even if we could have a kiosk to purchase the skin at light 3 to infuse something we have now into, imagine, all those sets that you would have one place to see if you have everything and be able to obtain it for a small glimmer fee, motes or strange coins. OR just give us the space we need to actually hold the loot I can obtain.. i'm telling you, if this was real life, id be storing stuff in the cock pit of the ships that I own, stashing them in my house, anywhere I could.. or I WOULD BUY SPACE somewhere to store it..

Support. Seriously need more vault space. I don't stay with 1 weapon for more than 2 crucible matches. I LIKE variety, and so I keep A LOT of good rolled weapons. Right now I've been having to put some weapons on my alternate characters JUST because I don't have any more vault space.
-
-
You really don't need all that. That's stupid. All you need is at least 3 armor sets for each guardian. Your being extra
-
Why? There is nothing more to come, so you can delete basically all old shit, but fatebringer... see much more vault space. Have stopped playing after hard raid was released. Almost tempted to come back for icebreaker, but what to do with it then?
-
They better give us more Vault Space with The Dawning. I know they said Sparrow Racing Gear would be available through the Holiday Kiosk, but what about everything else? If they are this determined to just keep giving us Kiosks over Vault Space, than they clearly need to install a Kiosk for every, single, activity. We would need a Raid one, an Iron Banner one, a Trials one, maybe even a Faction one.
-
another way bungie can assist us with our vault space issue is by making arms, chest and legs pieces great again. 1. Arms should have the increase reload speed option between "primary" "secondary" and "Heavy". 2. Chest pieces should have the increase ammo capacity option between Primary and secondary. 3. Boots should have the increase ammo capacity option between Secondary and Heavy. I can easily get rid of a bunch of armor pieces this way. MAKE A RAID KIOSK!
-
I had to delete my god tier Ill Will from Y1 because I had run out of space. This was before the exotic kiosks.
-
Vault space is the new meta baby
-
Seriously, just add another two tabs to the weapons screen page. Not that hard

I'd be fine with a space reduction. No point in holding on to cosmetic or outdated gear.

Edited by Eat My Acid: 12/5/2016 6:37:46 PMYou don't need to keep your bloody exotics. Don't bring that into the equation

Or, you can stop hoarding shit. You can only wear one set at a time.
