I, like perhaps many other Guardians out there, hate to see the old raids die. Crota's End, Vault of Glass, King's Fall, and eventually, Machine's Wrath have been almost completely ignored since their drops have become obsolete after each new update.
My suggestion is that an old raid (as of now 3 to choose from), may be featured as a level 390-400 where old gear drops at levels that are now deemed appropriate for modern guardians. At the end of each week, a new raid from the past may take the spot light for the next 7 days and so on; similar to how the raid challenges currently work.
I find that this will make available more activities to guardians each week by using content that is already within the game. Guardians will have more to do each week and be able to relive favorite moments and battles within the Destiny universe that have barely been touched since the arrival of each year.
Of course, this entire concept is entirely open for debate and changes as readers may see appropriate. Whether you agree or not with my proposal, please vote and/or post in the comments below.
Thanks for your time.

They made a mistake by not allowing content to be valid after it's been replaced by new content. There would be so much to do if every raid was a route to end game levels instead of having to grind the same stuff over and over. It's sad that they create their own limitations on valid content. I'd be raiding on all 3 characters every week if I could choose between VOG, Crota, KF, and WotM.
