Titans with twilight Garrison are quite surely the fastest and most mobile/Agile Class in Game. To be honest, that, in my opinion, should be the hunters! If the titans remain as strong as they are now (ability-Wise), they HAVE to loose that speed!
If a titan comes skating at me with a jug shield, and i play as a hunter, there is nothing i can do against that. If i shoot him, i lose, because of the amount of damage this thing takes (Everything from full shotgunblast to a whole golden gun shot). So my second option would be, to start running and fight him when it runs out. BUT I CANT! They are so fast, that even with bones and increased control, by far the fastest setup a hunter can go for (and max agility ofc), he will still catch up BECAUSE HE IS FASTER! That makes no Sense! As a nimble Hunter i accept, that my punch is weaker and i cant tank as much damage (Tripmines etc.) to be more agile and faster. But i am SLOWER. Warlocks have by far the vest melee and regen-abilities (shield or regen ON HIT!) which i feel makes countering easier. But what can i do if i cant even run?
Please reply and leave your thoughts: do you think, this is just fine? (Please add the class you play. I understand that all shotgunning jug-titans will not like this post and call me whyny... :)...)

I play as all the classes, all of them has their weak points. Honestly only people who mains titans will always whine how hunter players just can't play. WRONG! I've been playing as a hunter for a longer time now and yes indeed compared hunters and titans titans beats hunters on speed. I really enjoy kicking everyone's butts on crucible because...well...there's nothing they can do to my crazy speed, dodging and punching. However I totally give it to hunter mainers and feel bad for them that Bungie kinda f*** it over. Sad to hear how people tries to defend themselves about "Oh you are just a bad player that's why you are slow" lmao let me laugh. Play and master all the classes first, after it you will notice the huge mistake that hunters has nothing left on their agility. I hope they fix it on Destiny 2 and fast.

1 ReplyI think the only thing that makes the speed so dang frustrating is the jug sheild. Thats all its easy to dispatch a skating titan with no jug shield but the jug ability makes it way way more difficult

1 ReplyWant proof that Hunters have better movement? Watch a titan fall off a cliff, and watch a hunter. Which one nearly always recovers from the fall? Hunter lives Titan dies Speed alone is not nearly as important as speed coupled with great agility. Hunters have the latter.

We use the tears of the others as a slip and slide.

1 ReplyThe correct title for this would be: "Why can't my edgy Hunter be faster than a Titan using things to increase his mobility to travel short distances in a straight line?"
-
They are only the fastest in a straight line. Hunters on the other hand, have the most agility when it comes to stopping to resuming speed. Titans are super fast going in one direction. Hunters are fast in all directions
-
2 RepliesUh oh. Look there's a child here. Maybe grow up and realize every class is quick, Hunters have verticality, titans have horizontal speed, but hunter have shadestep and warlocks have basically nothing. Grow up. Titans aren't that good.

1 ReplyWatch out it's a hunter and warlock main

Speed =/= agility

1 ReplyUnless a titan has a scuf/elite controller than garrison and titan skating in general is very easy to counter they just move In a very linear fashion and they're also sitting ducks while skating. With an elite controller you can be more fluid with your movement but when you have garrison you can do some crazy stuff with paddles. But you can also do crazy stuff with bones of eao and shadestep (not really bones but you get the point I'm trying to make) titans are fast in a straight line hunters can juke you like crazy
-
7 RepliesHunter melees do just as much damage as Titan ones, have a longer range and are faster, Titans without mobility are by far, the worst class. Now, what needs to happen is this: Buff shoulder charge back to its original state. Nerf juggernaut so you can't shoot while the shield is up, this is unbeatable.

18 RepliesIt's absolutely insane that a perfectly logical question is getting downvoted into negative numbers. Titans should obviously be a lot slower and less agile than they are, and hunters should probably be faster and more agile. It's ridiculous that titans ended up being so fast and even more ridiculous that so many people are willing to accept it.

Use shade step

Edited by STARWoLF00: 12/3/2016 7:38:12 PMTitans get a shield that can eat a gg shot just for running. So please leave that warlock shit alone. Hunters run and Titans have a jet pack. I'm not saying it's not bullshit, that's just what it is. I don't mind Titans being faster than hunters for the simple fact that I don't want hunters being dominant across every aspect of crucible. They don't need an absolute advantage

Shut up already

10 RepliesWarlocks with focused burst are every bit as good if not better because they can move backwards too. Unfortunately it's easier for people to bitch than appreciate what works well on their own class.

3 RepliesEdited by iDovahBear: 12/2/2016 3:45:01 AMWe have/had the fastest linear movement, but we can't stop and change directions that well. In order to turn on a dime we require Twilight Garrison, and even it has its limits. Hunters are nearly as fast, but can rapidly change direction at this nearly equivocal speed. Shadestep makes them incredibly lethal, as does Triple Jump or Double Jump+Bones of Eao. This makes Titans clumsy but incredibly fast, while Hunters are exceptionally nimble but not the fastest by a very slight margin. It's a healthy diversity between the two, one is statistically faster, one is more practical in how fast it is. Hunters can't be the fastest in everything, you know. You guys have the fastest weapon handling and base sprint. Your feet just can't outrun a jetpack. Which is logical. We have a faster melee because we don't pull out a knife or equipment to punch. More logic. The differences are minimal, the only time you realize a Titan is so fast is when they're able to perfectly emulate the old Titan skate trick. Which at this point isn't an easy thing to do, it's been nerfed after all. And I've seen people try and fly that fast, they end up putting so much effort into flying they forget to aim and shoot, or if they're using a Hand Cannon they can't hit dick shit after flying through the air and landing on the ground in a moderate impact. It's literally only useful for running away or Shotgun Warrior'ing. And if you're worried about Shotgun Warriors, just put down Destiny and play something else. It's not a Titan's fault Shotguns are the easiest meta available right now. And Shotguns aren't even OP. It's just that every other weapon is -blam!-ing atrocious these days. Please stop blaming the wrong things. Blame nerf-happy Devs.

4 RepliesThis is from a warlock. Speed and agility are completely different. Agility is the ability to be mobile and quick, like changing directions quickly, and vertical moving quickly. Titans can go fast, but they have to build it up, and they can't change directions. The easy was to avoid a skater is to turn a corner. They'll have to stop skating to get you, and if they skate into the room, you'll have the jump on them. Also, skating has been around for a LONG time, with few problems.
-
Cause we are fabulous darling
-
Titans are great if you want to go in a straight line. Abusing their jump and twilight garrison makes it more maneuverable, but nothing compared to hunters jump. It's faster but less agile.
-
9 RepliesEnvenomed smoke plus Hunters have the best jump to getting above people. Which is a fantastic way to counter a skating Juggernaut Titan. Also Juggernaut doesn't take that much damage. If it did then it would still be up after getting hit with it. Juggernaut actually only has around 100 points of health. Here's how it works: Juggernaut is a completely separate "entity" from the Titan. It doesn't bleed damage through since it's not apart of the Titan like an overshield. It's basically another Guardian that has half health and doesn't completely cover the front of the Titan, moving in front of said Titan. That's why Golden Gun doesn't go through it and it gives the impression that it actually is tanking the ability when it actually isn't. But the end result, for Keyhole Golden Gun I mean, should be a dead Striker. And any weapon with piercing or the perk Armor Piercing Rounds should penetrate the shield for reduced damage to the Titan and full damage to the shield.
