Edit: Trending, welcome aboard folks, expect a long ride
Its hard to get exited for a sequal, of a game that has had glaring issues since the beginning
I understand theres not much room for more content since your probably working on the second game in the series, but there are very minor things that can be done to give the game life, or just be more enjoyable overall
Revamping raids
Its not new content, its simply reusuing the best set pieces. I don't understand the philosophy that "its in the past and moving to bigger better things", while i dont like all the raids equally, these are some of the best parts in the game, that you arent letting us experience fully. I dont get the idea of limiting yourself to one activity, i thought you supported exploration, and id love to dive into a different raid a week.
simple requests
How many people wanted to keep the broom? You didint let use keep it anyways. Its simple things like that that can make or break how we feel about this game. Simple quality of life changes can go a long way.
Weapon diversity, reforging and nerfs
Contrary to popular belief, limitations isint balance or diversity. And after the numerous balance patches, its only proven that limitation is not diversity. Reforing creates more sense of freedom and in a game where we are supposed to be our own legend, why cant we build ourselves the way we want? Why does my peashooter auto rifle have to be horrible just becuase i cant reroll decent perks on it? Or the fact that it does bad damage anyways?
Edit: people are telling me all people are gonna do is reforge for god rolls, but is that the result of power creep, or every other combo/weapon sucking?
Why do you nerf weapons expecting people to use more stuff,? Say ive got gold, silver and copper, everyone wants the gold, and not the copper, when you decide to make the gold less viable for being the most sought after, and the silver for being up their too, the copper isint any more valuable, it just so happens its the only thing that kept any kind of value. And then we have copper, wood and plastic, what are people gonna use the most often? It would make more sense to make everything as good as gold
Making things less valuable does not raise value in other things, its simple economics, the demand curve keeps the the same marginal utility , all it does is shift due to other weapons being substitutes. It never happened to get any more powerful
Im not asking for much, just for you to listen to use bungie, we have called your name for 2+ years, and it really feels like it falls on deaf ears

1 ReplyI really hope they bring back all the raids in an April style update a lot of people would want a new raid but in the time we from now till d2 a new raid would be impractical to ask for because it would be trash the only people working on it would be the live team. As for reforging the argument against it is flawed people would say "all you'd see is god rolls everywhere" open your friggin eyes they are everywhere people are going to use the best rolls no matter what so me may as well make them slightly easier to get to

1 ReplyEdited by kendallhollo2012: 11/30/2016 10:50:54 PMGood post and there is no doubt in my mind and I'm sure many other peoples minds that they give no -blam!-s about this game...

2 RepliesThe nerf thing comes from gaming elitists. They don't care if weapons feel weak as long as the broken way the game works keeps them on top. Almost every weapon of every class could seriously use a buff. Especially. Exotics. Elitists will say of exotics "oh you just want the game to be easy with your cheater weapons!" No. Bungie originally created these weapons so they would be fun to use. Fun use to be important in this game... Now it's all about "balance"........ Which is funny, because nothing in this game is balanced anyway.

19 RepliesPeople have been asking for simple changes/improvements since the game was in Alpha, it never happened and is never going to happen in the lifespan of Destiny 1. The best we can hope for is that they'll learn from their mistakes and improve on Destiny 2... In the meantime there are plenty of other games that are far more worthy of peoples attention. People keep complaining about this 2+ year old game on the forums when there are games out there that do everything better.

5 RepliesIt would be a miracle for this company👍🏻

2 RepliesThe fact that this only has 80+ up votes but endless remove sbmm posts get thousands of up votes shows a lot. Pretty pathetic and truly sad.
Bump btw. I couldn't agree more. Make destiny great again.
7 RepliesI dont understand why elemental EXOTIC primaries cant be a thing :) Each time a exotic primary weapon drops, it can drop with a random elemental damage on it. Not on all, but lets say on specific exotic primaries (handcanon, AR, Pulse, etc.) PS: with the exception of Zhalo ofc. That is always arc. I dont want elemental damage on legendary weapons, but atleast make the primary exotics more special...

1 ReplyThe time limited sparrow was a really good indication of how they give zero f*cks what people would actually like in the game. It was just a different skin on a sparrow that functions exactly like every other sparrow, and people wanted to keep it because it looked neat. Bungie saw the hundreds of people here asking for it and said "Nah, f*ck those guys. We're taking it away for no reason." It was the only free item that didn't actually hinder your character to use it, and even though it was just a cosmetic it was apparently too much to ask to keep it.

1 ReplyI'm still asking for my Days of Iron ornaments that I already paid $30 for, only to find out they are nearly impossible to get without spending more money at Eververse, and dealing with RNG.

7 RepliesHOLY HELL! just wait until D2 comes out... to find out that it's the SAME enemies (Cabal, Fallen, Hive, Vex, Taken, Siva) on the SAME maps, with the SAME limitations (having to leave the game to find people to play with, not being able to customize your gear/guardian, not being able to use your ship, not being able to replay previous content after new content is released, etc.), with the SAME chopped-to-hell story (or none at all!), with the SAME pointless and endless grind for items that will become obsolete as new gear drops (yes, Bungie, I am calling you out for that little fib you told us way back when, about everything we worked for never becoming trash because you wanted to let us feel that we had accomplished SOMETHING. buttheads), and on, and on... then you will look back on your D1 journey and be all like, damn son, I was getting bent out of shape about THAT?! day1-er here, finally having cemented the idea to not invest in this franchise any more until MORE information is made available to us. to not throw more money at my screen UNTIL I understand exactly what I will be trading that cash for. if Bungie can't get things straight for D2 without Activision riding the phoney baloney money pony from this point until Destiny crashes.... then they will have to do it without my wallet getting molested. end of story

5 RepliesThey will probably do this sometime after SRL launches when they see their numbers start to dwindle again. Unfortunately, that is all Bungie cares about. So long as hundreds of thousands of people keep logging in every week to play Trials or do a raid now and then, they will be able to sell the game as a success to their shareholders. So long as they can do that, they have absolutely NO reason to make any kind of changes. People need to start voting with their feet. All of the stuff you're asking for SHOULD have been released for the game, at minimum, at the April Update. Instead, they have let some of this stuff linger in order to try to use it to draw players back later on in the game. IMO, they've screwed up the Y1 Destiny so much that a return to what made the game more fun and replayable (the Y1 formula) isn't even feasible at this point without a reboot of the entire system, meaning we would all have to start from scratch again. I never used to be on board with this idea, but IF they do it so they can go back to the Y1 formula, I'd get over being mad after a while.

2 Repliespersonal opinion: Fire Deej and/or hire more community managers. There should be much more of a known presence of listening ears. Something that would be nice to see in the weekly update: the listen that Cosm0 brings to the development team. Let us know exactly what you've heard from us so we can make things easier from our end.
