Make all weapons and subclasses OP, so none will be OP

10 RepliesOr just -blam!-ing go to basics, just like halo, 1 scout rifle that kills you with 4 shots to the head, 1 pulse rifle that kills with 4 bursts to the head, 1 auto rifle (don't remember how much lead you had to put in a head to kill), 1 hand cannon also 4 shot kill to the head, no special weapons, you switch between primaries, no special melee, just plain force push, knife to the neck and good punch in the face, 1 nade, special weapons would spawn at certain locations 1 for each team, 1 shotgun, 1 sniper, and later on 1 heavy weapon, and of course your super, just keeping it simple, and halo was so great because of that simple style of play, people who don't agree just says how dependant they are on this broken pvp.

1 ReplyYes. Make the orb go through objects... the titan smash quake spread all over the map.... blade dancers get permanent cloak, auto lock, and teleport to them on lock on. Let the bubble become invincible and you can shoot out of it. Sunsinger revives damage players tv screens. GG becomes gat gun. To balance pve you will mutate every thrall into ogre and all enemy base movement speeds are 3x faster and much more relentless. Drones become walkers. Cabal captains-tanks. All triangle vex things become gorgons. I now just made the game 3x more fun, 3x more challenging. Oh and increase the damage modifiers 4x on every attack for you and your enemies.

2 RepliesThe real problem is when one subclass or one perk in a subclass gains too much ground with people hating on it. Say something is OP enough times and people will start thinking it is every time it beats them, just because they read it over and over on the forums. I never hated thunder strike until I read about it 100,000 times and now I rage about it every time as my knee jerk reaction.

Ever play dota 2? That's what their algorithm seems to be. Works amazingly. This whole nerf every time someone cries boo is what ruins games.
