Not even a simple hello?
Edit 1: Wow we are trending. Anyway I also added this to answer a recurring question I am getting and I know that the characters talked during the vanilla campaign but not afterwards. How can people not talk after 2 years. That is the reason I made this and before you guys say they would need to get the 6 voice actors back to do more voices I know but I mean in a literal aspect how can someone go 2 years without talking?
-
"Wow we are trending" stop that is pretty annoying, and litterally everyone says that same stupid edit. There is no we just you
-
Sorry guardian, did you say something?
-
Vow of silence until the darkness is banished.
-
4 RepliesI could tell you many things, I could answer you that question, but in the end, you'll have to buy the next dlc and nerf fusion rifles....
-
Snitches get stitches!
-
Here's a better question, why does only our ghost talk ? And we talked in vanilla a little
-
-
The nightmares from pre-nerf Qodron
-
Play the level the dark below. The first level to that expansion your guardian says 3 whole words
-
2 RepliesLike in general? Or at all? Because our guardian has spoken, if you've played through campaign.
-
Why? I play solo.
-
2 RepliesI'm more bothered by the fact that your character is basically shown as a tool. There is no soul.
-
Because Bungie is cheap af like deciding not to use dedicated servers.
-
1 ReplyCause if our guardian's talked they'd say stuff like. -Petra you hot Stop guardian -Fiesty
-
4 RepliesTalking expensive, silence free.
-
This game doesn't do stories.
-
Its because our guardians are constantly red barring so the voice lines just cant keep up with the gameplay...
-
6 RepliesThe real question is, How can Oryx speak English, and our Guardians can't? 0.0

#BuffVoicebox
-
soon you will be able to unmute your character for 1000 silver
-
1 ReplyI'm sure Bungle has a long winded, condescending explanation as to why they couldn't do it.
-
Maybe because no one uses the in game chat feature?
-
Use a Mic. Problem solved.

The Voice Actor was part of the reason I picked the characters I did. Getting a little tired of ghost always responding for the both of us. Some of his lines could've easily been spoken by 'us' and still fit into context. As far as immersion and investment goes, ask any Mass Effect or Dragon Age fan if having a voiced protagonist hurt there investment in the games? Small minority at best. (Then again, those games have fully-realized stories and characters... burn) We don't need endless monologues from our characters, but at least have us interject a question/comment from time to time or something during story mission briefings/cutscenes. Ghost doesn't need to speak for me. Even though people have a good laugh over the "I don't even have time to explain..." cutscene, there was a decent balance of interaction between the PC, Ghost, and the Exo Stranger (btw, when is she making an appearance in the story again??) And ease up on the amount of Ghost chatter. Getting really sick of his yammering whenever I have to do Archon's Forge.

Does the reef sound familiar? When we were trying to get into the black garden?

4 Repliesthis isn't the Bungie that made Halo.
