#balanceidea Why don't Bungie flip range stats for high impact shotguns with low impact? Give Matadors literal bootyhole for range and make things like In Times of Need have godly range. It makes no sense that Bungie would stack both top-tier stats on one archetype of shotgun. It seems like that would really open up the number of usable shotguns. (Something else I'd like to see: remove range perks other than different ballistics. They're shotguns, not fusion rifles.) Thoughts?

4 RepliesConsider the consequences.This change would create 2 archetypes of shotguns. The first will be able to 2 shot at a respectable range with a high rate of fire and still be able to 1 shot at close range. The second will be able to 1 shot at close range with a slower rate of fire. This doesn't create variety so much as it nerfs shotguns as a whole.
