So due to gout and rsi from years of work ( and fps pc gaming ) my right first finger gets really sore really fast.
Was almost ready to give up controller shooters when my step son was given an elite controller. Setting the triggers to the short throw position is a god sent.
It lets me use guns without full auto. Finally i understand mida users.
Cant wait to try a auto distant star.
Not this is a microsoft standard controller not modded at all.

Enjoy mate, love my Elite, fantastic controller. My trigger finger is just lazy, prefers an Auto, but those short throw Elite triggers ease my pain lol, awesome that it helps to keep yours in the game. Bet they never even thought of situations like yours when they designed them

Mida fires on a hair trigger anyway

These type of stories feed my soul. Good for you! You have an impairment and found a way to enjoy something you like. Doesn't get better than that. Keep on keeping on!

1 ReplyEdited by KalelKryptonian: 11/19/2016 1:22:02 AMI believe a modded Controller be it an elite or other brand that creates full auto where it should not be I.E. scout rifles , hand cannons , sidearms and pulse rifles is an unfair advantage, I'm not 100% but I believe controllers that do this is considered against bungie policy, I would also consider it cheating to put it outside the realms of what it is not supposed to do. I think this has been going on for at least this year. I don't think bungie will do anything anyway.

those full auto mods take a weapon and make it do things it was never intended and should be a bannable offence to use.. changing the setting on the trigger to need a shorter "pull" is an adjustment to the equiptment allowed and doesn't change how a weapons works and is perfectly fine by me.
