A friend pointed me in the direction of a known YouTuber and streamer who posted videos moaning about SBMM. Not, it seems, from any connection or lag perspective but simply to moan that they couldn't achieve their targets because the players they were playing were too good!. I thought that SBMM was exactly that putting skill v skill level. The poster is, I understand, a top player so whinging that they can't get enough kills or die too much because they're playing players equally as good, almost as good or slightly better than them, seems a little silly. I'm rubbish. I lose regardless of the connection, skill etc of my opponents but if we go down the CBMM route then I might get put up against Destinys best and hammered every time I set foot in the crucible. And where's the fun in that ?. If you are as good as the poster seems to be then you will be winning more than you lose regardless of how CBMM or SBMM is set up.. So what am I missing ?
