Bungie please BAN pay($) for carry players
What bungie needs to do is permanently ban these carry for money players. They are ruining trials. Every card I play we run into one or more of these. You have 1 or even 2 of the top players in the world carrying someone to flawless. They play all weekend long one match right after another making money left and right, its ridiculous. Trials is a blast because it's so competitive but whats fun about being 7-0 or 8-0 and being steamroller by 2 top 1% players and some player who can't even get a kill.
If bungie would just start banning all these carry of $ players, half of which just stream it on Twitch, it would go a long way toward fixing trials.
Edit; apparently I need to edit my post people people are taking it in the wrong direction. It's not about proving that the team that I played happened to be one, you can't prove it.
Its not about weather I win or losse because I will play either way, i just enjoy playing and anyone that knows me knows that i spend 75% of my time just playing with random people and friends to just play not try for flawless. But yes it does and would sting alot more to loose your final game to a pay for carry group then one who earned it.
MY OPINION IS; pay for carries is wrong and there should be no place for it in destiny.
Pay for carries is everywhere right now. You can't go onto the destiny app under trials fireteam finder and not see someone posting for it. It's on there about 1 out of every 3 or 4 posts.
And no I don't want bungie to go and ban everyone that has done it in the past but they could and in my opinion should announce that it is against destiny's policy and if anyone is caught doing it in the future they will get banned.

4 RepliesMan I don't get it. The high light of this game is the light house by far. The first time I made it I was jumping for joy because it was hard. That's the way it is made. What could you possibly get out of paying someone to do your work. Nothing that's for losers. People that want something for nothing will never make a good life for them or there family. These people are afraid of work. Pay carry should be banned. People that pay should be banned & people that carry for money go to jail for wire fraud. If you pay & do not make it to light house that's called wire fraud. I am sure the FCC would love to hear about these people that do this.

As long as the players doing the carry aren't lag switching or ddosing, it's fine.

This game needs more really challenging end game rewards, not like the hard raid where its difficult for like 30 minutes and then everybody and their mother has beater it. Trials is the only really hard endgame activity in which many players have still yet to reap the ultimate rewards. We need more stuff like trials so its not so much focus on one event that people are willing to pay to win in the first place. Maybe a raid with no revives period or a y1 nightfall modifier.

Bungie wants free advertising so they allow paid carries or subs only carry on twitch (raffle is fine) in doing so Bungie have alienated a major amount of players (mainly hard core PvE) who got feed up with ToO they did one of these four choices. 1-never touching ToO 2-paid/got for a carry and left ToO (g.card) 3-cheated 4-still playing and getting stomped Good PVP players don't see this issue usually until the casual/raider got feed up and left ToO and they see is hard core PVP players, cheaters or carries and they blame SBMM. SBMM only works for regular PVP (that what Bungie saying although I don't buy it). ToO works on WBMM but the majority blames SBMM for ToO which is stupid. The raid is done, Strikes, 3oC and packages are not rewarding enough and night fall is just there for extra loot. PvE players are done or almost done with Destiny if ToO was an option to them they might have done it but it's not rewarding enough for the amount of frustration they face. Fun fact all raiders who equip there emblem and losses a match in ToO would get a hate msg for some reason. Bungie made there choice and the players have made there's. It's that simple. Carrie would still be around as long as Bungie's allows it I'll also but links for carry video so you know for a fact Bungie's allows it. 2 RepliesThe problem is there are actually very few pay services, they take donations and there is nothing illegal about that. I agree it shouldn't happen but if folks are willing to donate for a carry so be it.

Ever hear of capitalism? It works in the virtual world too. However, I'm opposed to the idea of carrting in general, as it gives unskilled players the ability to beat content without having the skill or experience to do so by themselves or with a regular team. Paid carries are reminiscent of capitalism. Free carries are akin to communism.

It's just as bad as people on ESO ( Elder Scrolls Online) selling there ingame gold for real money. If bungie doesn't get there head out of there butts and do it, then Microsoft should step in and ban there accounts!!!

I don't bother with trials since long way back, that system is rigged same players to lighthouse every week. When I did trials I got stomped or my team mates would rage quit first round. Big waste of time, let the elitists have it they obviously need it.

5 RepliesIf someone wants to pay someone to "carry" them than that's their business. Some of these players know that they aren't good enough to get there on their own for whatever reason. They have tried and tried to get that sweet loot that is only obtained at that one place we all secretly want to go to but for one reason or another fell short. So, they hit the forum and find a guy doing $20 carries and alas!, he gets his flawless and maybe some player tips and is now truly hooked on that never ending chase for perfection, and the guy that helped him gets modestly compensated for spending an hour of his time helping another gamer. I've spent entire weekends running card after card and maybe go flawless once a month or so but I have an awesome job that allows me that much free time. Some people only get to play this game a few hours a week and don't have a lot of friends and or time to do the same and will never be able to do what some of us have been lucky enough to accomplish, so they bite the bullet and pay a guy to help them get there. I have no problem with that whatsoever. Hell, if I run into someone doing carries and I know that's what they're doing I'll usually just tank the match so that little kid or busy Dad that works his ass off for his family can get to the lighthouse and have that amazing memory that some of us have been lucky enough to get.

I wish i could play the best in the world ill get murdered but id like the experience to see how they play defensively from how i attack. Its not about not getting killed its about playing them in certain ways to learn how they react. Do they stay in gun battles? What weapons are they using on which maps? Learn there defensive strategy by pushing different offensive moves on them... i think it would be great to play them. If goin flawless is that important pay them to carry you and when your in game try to pick there brain with humble questions. Watch how they play the map from the offensive side in such a perspective.

There isn't anything wrong with it lol. You are still being beaten by players that are better than you. If someone wants to go flawless by paying someone it's not your problem, or bungie's. It's their money.

1 ReplyBungie legally can't do this. You can't ban someone who hasn't done anything wrong. It's not cheating. It's no different than people who do carries for free. The only thing is there are idiots who care enough to pay for it. If you're so upset blame the people who are paying for it. Not the ones that are profiting off of their skills.

1 ReplyI don't consider what you said as an opinion I consider it to be a fact. Streamers youtubers pay to carry an so on need to be banned. You can't post to find people to play with cause you get 10 or so people soliciting for streams an pay to help an its not right. In the past I always when makeing a recruit post weed these assholes out by saying if you solicit your streams an so on you will be reported for such things. No one should have to pay someone to play a game or help them with something on a game you should do it cause it's the right thing to do. So for me I don't give a damn streamers youtubers an pay to play you deserve to get banned as much as the bad connectors ddosers laggers an cheating jack offs.

So heres my opinion as someone whos never been to the lighthouse and I doubt I ever will. Sometimes you play people who are better than you. It happens to some of us more than others but still its just part of the game no matter if they are getting paid or not or how close you are to a perfect card. If someone is so good at video games that someone wants to pay money to play with them then more power to them. I get paid to do things im good at too so why cant they ?

Why? There's nothing saying they can't do it. It's not against the terms of service or the EULA. And if you're good at something, never do it for free, after all.
